Enforcement of one's religion onto others (note that I myself am atheist and areligious, with a gravitation towards Satanism and Witchcraft. No, I do not want to turn to 'God', whether that is Jesus, Allah, etc. I do not need 'salvation'. 'Hating the sin but loving the sinner' is a shitty excuse for bigotry. Do not enforce your beliefs on those unwilling, and do not use your religion as an excuse to be bigoted). Religious discrimination (as in, discriminating others based on their religious beliefs and views, unless they use said religious beliefs and views in order to validate harming others emotionally, physically, and sexually, and support oppressive and right-wing ideologies. I myself feel skeptical towards religion as a whole. It is a personal experience for everyone, and everyone has the right to believe in and practice anything they want, so long as it doesn't harm themself or others. However, due to the fact that most religions, most notably Abrahamic religions, are based on patriarchal and xenophobic viewpoints, I do not support them). The patriarchy. Cringe culture (mind your business, so long as someone isn't hurting themselves or others, let them enjoy what they enjoy even if it's strange to you. In short; grow up, don't be a dick). Ableism. Incest. Pro-shipping, specifically pedophilic ships/minor-adult ships, incestuous relationships, fujoshi/fudanshi, etc. It is understandable that some people might use these ships as a coping mechanism for their own experiences, but nevertheless it isn't okay to sexualise and romanticise illegal, harmful 'relationship' types. You're free to do as you wish, but remember that pedophilia, incest and abuse are not, under any circumstances, okay. However, I personally enjoy generally complex unhealthy/toxic ships/relationships in media (say, Basil & Dorian or Armand and Daniel. I seriously am heavily against incest and pedophilia and ships that generally have those undertones, f.e. Marius and Armand, Ciel and Sebastian, etc). Note that I'm not in support of abusive relationships in real life though. Pro-eating disorders (supporting eating disorders, that is). Fat shaming, skinny shaming, and overall body shaming. Anti-recovery. Pro-self harm (as in further encouraging it). Elon Musk and Trump supporters. Anti-Palestine, anti-Congo, anti-Sudan, anti-Ukraine (note that I personally can't donate money nor can I support or be responsible for people's campaigns, but I'll still try and spread the word in order to help). Those that make jokes about E. and E. Island. Slash-flashing (aka, purposefully showing fresh self-harm wounds to an unwilling and/or unsuspecting individual. It can be incredibly triggering and disturbing. Remember to please seek help if possible, and try healthier coping mechanisms. Recovery is possible). S-icide baiting and s-icide threats. Zoophilia. Metal or overall music purists. Purity culture. Usage of Gen-AI (I wish all people still using chatbots for comfort the best for their recovery).

if jk rowling wasn't such a cunt and harry potter was written the way it appears to be by the fandom + actually made some sense, had consistency and wasn't very obviously bigoted, i'd probably still be in the fandom and actually enjoy it. it's not as inclusive as it looks like. it will never be as inclusive as it looks like, considering it was written by a homophobic racist TERF. the fandom itself is toxic as well. i would like for harry potter to have genuinely good BIPOC, queer, disability & culture representation too, but knowing the woman that wrote it we can't have that.

Miserable pseudo-essay on why I hate some adults who watch childrens shows

Recently I came across discourse about the new(?) monster high series. I haven't watched it, I haven't watched any media related to monster high. But the discourse was mostly about the representation. Usual complaints, "forced representation" and how "clunky" the dialogue feels. Are we going to ignore the fact that these are adults talking about how a childrens show isnt up to their expectations? First of all, isn't monster high specifically about how everyone can be themselves and how everyones important the way they are? Does this only apply if youre skinny, white, cis, straight, neurotypical and ablebodied? Again, it is a childrens show. Childrens shows are made for entertainment yes, but at their core they're meant to teach children about the world, and about different kinds of people. Children aren't born hateful, they're turned hateful by miserable adults. Adults live in a world where it's normal for minorities to get systematically erased in more ways than one. So maybe it is expected for these adults to feel uncomfortable watching a show where peoples differences are embraced and normalized instead of dismissed. But we need to keep one fact in mind. It is a childrens show, made for kids. Not adults. "The dialogue is clunky, why do they say they're disabled instead of hinting it." The show is for kids. CHILDREN. YOUNG PEOPLE. An adult might understand hints like that, but a child often doesn't even know what a disability is. That is why the dialogue explicitly states that. Also, kids dont care if the dialogue is clunky. Because they're kids. "But why do they add all that representation? What use is there for it?" Let's imagine a scenario. A kid watches a show, and one of the characters shows clear traits of some condition. Let's say the character is sensitive to light and sound in some situations. The kid watching the show will see how the character is treated with understanding by the other characters, and so that kid will go to school and realize that their friend, who is also sensitive to light and sound, needs understanding instead of being told "just deal with it" A kid will see all the other characters, all with their own traits, and learn how everyone is valuable just the way they are, and how diverse the world is. An adult will watch that show and get uncomfortable because they can't handle seeing minorities represented. That is why i'm sick of miserable adults thinking their opinion matters when talking about childrens shows. Do not bean soup theory me in the comments please.

sometimes when I'm talking to someone (especially irl), instead of using singular pronouns for myself, I use plural pronouns because it feels like I'm talking about a collective despite the fact that I'm not a system
