Advice

So. My manager who I’m close with told me he is being transferred and I burst into tears. I’m crying rn and I just don’t want to work there anymore. I can’t. He helped me through so much and I just can’t. He was one of the people that I enjoyed talking to and working with. One of the people I decided to stay at the place and I just can’t. We got there at the same time and it’s been over a year. In December it would have been two years. It’s not going to be the same. He came to my aid when I tried to kill myself and took me to the hospital. We share our demons with one another and I can’t anymore. I’m going to distance myself from him. Because I’m not just losing my favorite manager but I’m losing an a people I consider a friend and Support people. It’s the only way I won’t be so hurt when he leaves in April. The job sucks but like I said. He was one of the reasons I decided to stay. I just can’t. I need to release this pain. And I’m about to.

There’s not a specific moment, in fact, it was a progressive change of attitude what turned everything around. Jimin started to notice that the way he was approaching JK wasn’t the right one, so he behaved differently. If you start watching BTS videos chronologically, you will see it.

Before this, Jimin used to try to hug JK, kiss him, shower him with compliments… And all those times JK rejected him (imo, in addition to him being shy and introverted, because they were in public and JK felt very exposed). I’m not trying to portray JK as the bad guy here, in fact, when I was younger I felt the same way… So I understand him if he felt overwhelmed.

Now, on the other hand…

There’s also the Sukira Interview in 2015, one of the famous Jikook moments where they ask Jimin why he likes Jk so much and he literally sighs before answering when he was so excited to answer about it before (Filha de Jikook who makes very good analysis videos, the only analysis channel I watch, mentioned it in her video Push and Pull, too. It summarizes their evolution very well. I recommend it to everyone). What made it interesting was Jungkook’s reaction, he looked so shy, touching his neck but really interested in Jimin’s answer.
