In a new bit of network traffic data for Pokémon GO, the National Pokédex numbers for Meltan and Melmetal have been confirmed. The new text lists Meltan as being #808 and Melmetal being #809, which could show that they continue on from the National Pokédex as expected. Previously some confusion existed over the numbering system of in-game assets that doesn’t necessary correspond to National Pokédex numbers. We’ll provide more details on Meltan and Melmetal and their existence in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu & Let’s Go Eevee, and Pokémon GO as they come so keep checking back.
