I’m also trying to become an author, animator, and voice actor! But my main focus is with Cookie run kingdom right now!

I don’t blame White Lily Cookie at all for whatever Smc is doing but rather I feel like if we look from the wider narrative Lily’s death really didn’t effect anything lore wise .. I know there should still be conflict for the game to continue but 5 mins after White Lily’s and DE’s death we see Shadow Milk become the new big bad.. so the game really makes her sacrifice not worth it

She died thinking Cookiekind would move on without her and DE and how their would be a world where all of them would have freedom and she said may this be the last tragedy on earthbread so umm Smc with his whole destroying timelines shenanigans made the whole moment so worthless

This is not me blaming Lily my girl has been through enough but this is a critic of Devsis writing

It’s too early to say and maybe it’s just me but umm didn’t they make Lily ‘dead wife material’ for PV..

I’ve already adressed whole heartedly how white lily cookie should have lived, and I’m not accusing you here, I’ve seen so many routes they could’ve gone instead of killing them both off: fusing or locking Dec up and stripping her of her power, also this wasn’t gonna be the last tragedy regardless of if shadow milk cookie became the next antag or not, there’s the dragons, obscure umbra cookie, first egg cookie and the ultimate cookie, the calamities, new threats they can make in sugarburg and wholegrainia (places that are really discovered that much, with Sugarberg being a complete mystery) then there’s also the novas that I think they’re morally grey idk ovenbreak fans wake up and tell me, and the unknown part of the map so there’s still alot that’s at stake here even if shadow milk cookie is defeated so just killing them off makes no sense, I can see them killing off the beasts but not really white lily cookie, I had hoped and prayed that non of the beasts would have died and Devsisters killed them off anyways, their deaths weren’t even for plot or power to shadow milk cookie either since we haven’t seen him use them they’ve just become a glorified schizophrenia mod ulti implanted into his head, they had no reason to become casualties if you aren’t gonna use their powers at all

if ultimate cookie dies then every shadow milk cookie fan I’m sealing them in the silver tree with me silent salt cookie style because literally look at this dialogue

and tell me straight in the eyes that they won’t return to torment gingerbrave

I don’t care if first egg cookie got them on life support just don’t kill them off, also for those that think I’ve lost my mind why am I just calling the witch that grabbed tuc straight up first egg cookie, dawg look at the shape of the hat of the shadow of the witch that walks to tuc, that’s not anyone else but first egg cookie, and it’s not even shadow witches hat because 1. It doesn’t really match shape wise 2. How would she even get there without being seen, first egg probably put on some kind of form or illusion or it’s a representation of some kind to hide her identity 3. If anything only first egg cookie and first cream cookie would really care for the worlds disbalance and would use the thing responsible. However if it’s a new witch or even Matilda for all we know then I wanna really know how they found out about the ultimate cookie and what their intentions with it are because first egg cookies intentions are kinda clear: gather the first batch to bring back the witch of light in witches castle, basically a morally dark grey character and I like it, now replace tuc and probably gb or the souljams into that plan and it would get really interesting

A.) smc is written horribly out of character in most of them, and is treated like a sad little meow meow who’s done nothing wrong

B.) a good chunk of theses writers seem to have beef with random characters (for whatever slight they perceive against smc or gingerbrave/bravegang for existing) 

Now it’s no where as bad as other pairings, I’ve seen take over the fandom *shudders in klance and byler*

But yeah it’s not great, and is incredibly annoying when you try to find a story that’s about pure vanilla or shadow milk, that isn’t the pairing

It sucks because b-y (beast-yeast) episode 2 shadow milk cookie was so good, setting the plot as this menacing character we know nothing about that makes fools of everyone in the vicinity, just for him to become this obsessed crying baby out of nowhere (don’t worry I get shadow milk cookies writing fine but there’s a line of a fan favorite and the fan favorite

A fan favorite being a character that is praised by the fandom (example: derpy) but isn’t the one that takes over most of the plot because of fan popularity, sure there was the episode slice of life but she didn’t get all the episode, another example is mimiku even as a fan favorite and for good reason Pikachu is still the main Pokémon you see mostly and I think if someone doesn’t know Pokémon they atleast know Pikachu, even as little as the design they know it, it’s like miku with her iconic design

Now, The fan favorite is the character that gained too much popularity and now has taken over the plot, with many shows and games being planned ahead of time there arent many examples of this, I’m not saying shadow milk cookie took over the plot because of his popularity since “it was planned ahead of time” bullshit but the amount of merch, story relevance (even in dark enchantress cookies supposed 3 episodes I think he still has more screentime then her), and then him being squeezed into everything now (cue the 1 second instance shadow milk is in ovenbreak and the fans quickly jumped to him being the reason ob Dec sees the kingdom timeline) it’s become very suspicious, sure I can see the argument behind him becoming the main antagonist but when you shift too much at sidelining the main cast you made yourself it gets alittle suspicious, and what hurts me is that no other cr game does this, it sticks to its main characters, some might get replaced (rip skater cookie) or added (dozer for wc or olive cookie and adventurer cookie for kingdom) but that’s it, any more and it feels like your slowly getting rid of what made your game so great

what really sucks is that the main cast that were so accompanied with is heavily under developed, sure they have character development here and there but most of the time it just ties back to the ancients all over again, that’s why the scene of de holding gb, ulti and gb, bravery hill, and run gingerbrave run were by far the only good things about episode 15 and I didn’t see a single person complain about it that isn’t “oh gingerbrave got too much plot again” since they’re finally doing something with him, and what makes me really cry is that I just know they’re trying to make the ovengang on purpose boring just so then they can make it seem like the ancients are the main characters and that’s not okay, it’s bad! And you should be ashamed for totally ignoring the original main characters and don’t get me started on them slowly being rid of the cast and splitting the oven gang apart in episode 13-14, it’s all a mess and I hope they fix it going forward because like I said millions of times gingerbrave is the fool card and the fool card is involved one way or another in the deck

but that’s just a theory, A COOKIE RUN KINGDOM THEORY! Thanks for reading

Lily’s final moments were dedicated to a man , it was dedicated to her confessing to a man who claims he never understood her and currently in the story.. her death didn’t have a major impact on the overall plot because shadow milk is still causing chaos on multiple timelines sure she defeated DE but now we gotta a psychopathic clown messing with Time so did her death even ensure peace on Earthbread

I don’t think Devsis did it intentionally and killing off a female character isn’t misogynist itself but the context matters and in Lily’s case I mean.. it did feel a bit misogynist

God forbid a man cries about a women’s death (there was even many hints before hand but they never fully understood it bro), but when he acted completely normal as soon as light of solidarity cookie showed up that was just ugh, it left a knot in my stomach and they should’ve handled it better with pure vanilla cookie maybe having a bit of a sniffle in his voice and a sad sound of voice

also it wasn’t wlc’s fault that shadow milk cookie would do this bullshit, I’m just counting down the days until he falls apart and ulti takes over

I agree tho devsisters literally the writing took a nose dive with episode 15, and someone also said that they replaced their writers some time in between and I cannot confirm nor deny on this allegation I can see it but at the same time “it’s planned before hand” just ugh….. this argument holds no water since we saw the beasts went through many changes before the whole story was released, sure they might’ve planned pieces of it before hand but I don’t think the full story was planned before hand
