SECOND ARTFIGHT ATTACK ⭐️🌸
Another artfight attack! This time of @alpinesquib ‘s Stari! Something a bit different for me too, since I never draw with pastels or bright colours, usually sticking to earthy tones!
I gave Stari this cute Y2K and star inspired outfit, I hope I’ve done her justice!
I hope you love the art Alpine! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ you’ve made me want to post my art / designs on youtube eventually (though i’m not sure there yet confidence wise (´ ∀ ` *)

Art Fight Attack Number Eight: Starting Soon~
Character from @AlpineSquib
I absolutely love this character and concept from AlpineSquib. A cute, punk streamer girl slowly getting infected with a malicious virus/mystery killer on the loose behind the scenes? Yes, please! It's giving early 2000s creepy pasta, and the nerd in me is loving it. I wasn't going to do an animated attack this ArtFight, but the voices compelled me!

(sorry if u've already answered a question like this) idk how to like phrase the question exactly, but how do you gain a following? like how do you get people to care about your art and stuff? i REALLY wanna get people interested in my ocs and maybe even have a web series or tv show but how do i get people invested?
I don’t think I’ve answered anything like this before so you’ve got no reason to apologise! Tbh I can’t entirely think of a clear cut answer to give to this sort of question because I think there’s many ways you can go about gaining a following and getting people to care about your OCs, but I guess the simplest (and probably the corniest) is giving it time and maybe a steady content stream?
I don’t really know how I got much of a following, especially because I feel like more people know me on YouTube than actually on other socials, but I kind of just put my heart into making videos and trying to make sure the passion and love I have for the characters or work I was talking about came through! People like hearing you talk about your characters and their stories and when you’re clearly passionate and open to sharing that with others and the world you eventually start to gain fans who love and want to hear more about it!
A big thing I would say is have a spot where characters and lore can be compiled and easily accessed, like a strawpage or blog, that way anyone interested in your story and characters can easily read up more on your world or even certain key locations like characters rooms or favourite spots to go to, something to show how fleshed out they are and give people ideas of who they are and how they could make fan art of!
As I also said I think a steady content stream helps too! I am like a complete hypocrite with this so take that with a grain of salt 😭 but idk whenever I look towards other creators like EmmaArtly, or Inkiio, I see them talk about, draw, and post their characters on the regular whcih makes me notice and think about them a whole lot more! The more people see them the more they’ll become attached and start following along! That and have good dynamics helps hook people too! Whether characters are in a Will they won’t they situationship? Is there a big dastardly villain hunting them? Is the world ever expanding around them? Just giving questions or scenarios to think about grabs people more and get a whole lot more invested!
Again sorry if this is very rambly as I’m still not the most sure either on my end, but I hope it helped give some ideas on showing off and getting eyes on your characters! I’d love to see what you make and how they turn out so don’t be afraid to send them over or tag me in a post featuring them!!
im not on artfight this year but ty for posting the refs because ive been wanting to draw some non-artfight stari fanart ‼️
I’ve been meaning to do them for ages so ArtFight finally gave me nudge I needed to lock in and do it!! But I shall watch my back so you can’t surprise me with fan art that easily!

ANOTHER ArtFight attack!! This one for @_luciedsnake_ and their gorgeous Ever After High OC Lucie D’Snake!!
My 2nd Artfight attack which is a revenge on @muffinzxdd!! Apple was too cute of an OC not to draw!
My first ArtFight attack! (That I totally didn’t forget to post here) for @cogoico and his mecha OCs
my second artfight attack of the year, this time for @alpinesquib !! when i saw his oc dog girl was on artfight i got super hyped since i was really interested in what he mentioned about her in his oc-tober youtube video last october ^^
Love how you added the diverse representation to the Ever after High characters, it really upsets me that it lacks diversity in the franchise for the character designs, but as artist we get to make up for it
Aw tysm! I just thought it'd be cool to see more cultures represented in a story about different fairytales, some maybe more inline with their place of origin, others just having more diversity outright because why not? I will say seeing the Ever After High concept art that spread about this year a lot of characters WERE actually pitched to be more culturally diverse and unique, with south asian Ginger, native american Cerise, and possibly an asian duchess (or Lizzie I'm not too sure)? So a shame they played it extremely safe with just very european-american style for most of it's cast, but at least we know that was clearly more Mattel's meddling then the creative team behind it, so we can only imagine what the original vision could of been like!

Hi! I watched your Winx Club redesign video and they all look fantastic! Thank you again for bringing up the weird trend of the hyper masculinity in black female characters! My question is: You mentioned you wasn't too crazy about your design for Musa, if you don't mind me asking, have you thought of maybe adding her little cd player to her hip like she has in her her charmix form? Maybe in the re-write it could explained as something that keeps her magic flowing or something to help her concentrate
Tbh I did have a plan for charmix in my redesign series and actually slightly redesign those forms too, although to a much more simpler degree. I was going to start the exchantix video basically speed running charmix so we can get to the next form I want to redesign, and the plan would be just drawing over the new winx forms and adding in some extra elements like their broach, bags, and a new extra clothing piece!
So in Musa's case she gets the melody broach and the bag, but I also planned on giving her possibly a hood and maybe slightly longer rougher hair, to feel a little more rave inspired to keep the theme inline with a dance theme. I think once adding those I'll like the design more as to me it feels "under"designed right now, but for now it's just a 6/10 to me when I want it to be a 9/10
I do love your idea about the music helping her to focus on magic more though! One thing I wish I brought up and elaborated more on was Musa having slight auditory problems, using music additionally as a way to block out loud noises and while she's a good listener, she's maybe "too" good at it and sometimes noises can be a lot to deal with! Again, something I thought about and planned and then forgot to add and by then I was too deep into editing to try and fit it in so I guess it'll get brought up later down the line!
Also with your work I LOVE the queer and disabled rep in the work you have! I really appreciate Tecna being autistic! Also I appreciate that when Cedar becomes human she doesn't becomes "cured" and discard the use of the cane.
Aww ty! I love adding more elements of diversity into my work and characters, especially ones I based of my friends and family! Being queer myself I of course tend to add more elements of that in since I'm just pulling from my queer experience, but I also like to adding some other real life elements into my work too that I feel either relate to a characters story or how I interpreted them to be written, or just because I saw my friend in them so gave them a similar disability!
With a lot of characters I try to go for more subtly and implication for a show don't tell approach, or just give viewers more thoughts to chew on and see what they interpret, but sometimes I think I've jsut got to be a bit clearer and say outright what I intended more so things don't get misread or misinterpreted!
But yeah I think I'm being a bit rambly and not makind sense with my answer now so will wrap things up but, I think more characters should explore those aspects, especially with disabilities, and I wish more media wouldn't be so afraid to do so without immiedaitely "fixing" or "curing" a character of it!!! Let someone have a cane or a wheelchair or process situations/conversations differently!
