Phoenix and the Dragon, Emperor and the Empress, Yin and Yang, Justice and Mercy…

for those who don’t know, oomama-san is the nichijou background character with the purple ponytail, and her most significant appearance was literally just these couple of seconds in the mio propeller scene

anyway there is a particular nichijou fan who really loves oomama-san, so they wrote in to arawi’s radio show to ask for any detail at all about her personality. like, the manga and anime reveal so little that the only way to find out anything about her was to ask the author directly.

and you know what arawi came up with, as her defining character trait?

「大間々だけに、ワガママである。」

The moment I first saw Tropius in Ruby version, it became one of my top favorite Pokemon. Since then I’ve been trying to find a shiny on Route 119- to no avail. Years and years later I found a shiny Tropius in X, but it didn’t feel the same. Nothing can compare to seeing a new Pokemon for the first time. Here’s a mashup of the two moments, though. :D

that was the original okami  ending song and it’s beautiful. The “new” one is underwhelming. greatly.
