I really like the idea; it's another thing they both have in common, and definitely another thing that would make Will worry a lot about James as he sees him more and more as a reflection of himself, trying to save him immediately, as he probably would have wished to be saved.

I hated the movie, but now you make me embarrassingly yearn for a SH2 x Hannibal crossover. Get the Jimmy boy's mind prepared by our murderous, manipulative, mindfucking therapist! Oh what he's gonna find there, I wanna know now what Hannibal is gonna think about that (tbh thinking more about game James here, the movie failed to capture how sick he is). Like, the poor man believes he's being stalked by a large beefcake of a monster with a metal pyramid on his shoulders. I wonder if Hannibal is gonna twist Jimmy's brains by trying to convince him that Pyramid Head isn't real and James is just making shit up, all while James is fucking frightened? Or is Hanny gonna convince him that PH is real and is coming for him because James was a bad boy (and he's still fucking frightened)? And Will getting mad over his husband playing old games again.

I love both ideas, actually!

Hannibal sees the resemblance to Will and decides to attempt a manipulation experiment on him. Will notices and tries to intervene by pulling James away.

The songs that I feel suit them best are Little Lottie and The Mirror, especially the 25th anniversary version where Christine gets scared when she hears the ghost.
