Let me just say, this movie is what every animated western should be. It has a lucky and intelligent hero who despite that has next to no physical capabilities.

The film is an absolutely amazing piece of fiction that had been one of my favorites for as long as I had favorites. Johnny Depp kills it and if I'm being honest, the story is one that talks less about a hero who is coming into a town for victory and more about someone realizing that they are someone.

As the walking cacti are initially shown as something scary like the townspeople who initially come off as scary but, in the end, Rango comes to terms with the fact that he is simply just like them and that everyone is equal.

One thing that stuck out to me was how the movie had used blending color in such a way that I simply can't describe.
