-The City of the Sun – Main Quest.🔥 After much time, collectibles and side quests, Aloy and I found Olin. Aloy killed him, and I feel kind of bad about it. I know he did bad things, but he also didn't ask to be part of this. Either way, welp, good bye👋 At least he was a good sport about it. Olin’s wife, on the other hand, was like "how can I forgive Olin for a knife at mine and my son's throats?" She lowkey was like ‘good riddance honestly’ and Aloy was like ‘um yea… probably for the best he died. ha ha!’ ALOY!!😅 Don't say that as if you didn't just kill the guy five seconds ago! 2🏹🏹

-Maker’s End – Main Quest.🔥 First time meeting Sylens. Aloy was not in the mood for his attitude.💅 "If you're so smart, why do you know so little after spending a lifetime scratching around in the dirt. It's not my fault you're bad at what you do!" WOOOOAAAHHH!!! Aloy call him out!! She goes on to say she came here to find out more about Elisabet, and Sylens says she's throwing a temper tantrum. And that "he's sure Elisabet would be proud🙄." And you know what, I think she would be honestly!😛 1🏹

-The War Chief’s Trail – Main Quest.🔥 After the Grave Hoard, Sylens was like so ‘heyyyy girly… listen. Like I have stuff to do. And um, so do you apparently. You forgetting something???’ This is NOT the point in the game where I expected to be forced do this quest. Let alone by SYLENS of all people😅 but i guess it's as good a time as any! We proceeded with vengeance for the Nora yadda yadda. And after that Sylens talked to Aloy at a campfire. It was so weird, I’ve never heard this interaction before omg. Sylens was basically like 'well my work here with the Nora is done.' And Aloy was like 'wait! But you're not even here tho???' I'm dead.💀

-The Terror of the Sun – Main Quest.🔥 Aloy confronts Helis before she’s thrown in the Sun Ring. I chose the options: 'Trying to bore me to death?' & 'You're a thug.' Omg😅 Aloy is like “Sirrr PLEASE just stop talkingggg to meeee! Do you ever shut up???😒” And girl i feel you.🙄 This man is infuriating. Then Helis spoke about the attack on the Nora and I chose the ‘they're irrelevant’ option. Which, ouch. Aloy said “The Nora have no part to play in this.” And to 'leave them alone'. Which, true. That is not what I thought she was going to say though.😅 I thought it was going to be much meaner. But fair enough argument honestly. 1🏹

-As a side note, though it is not main quest related, I would like to point out how WEIRD it was to see Aloy and Avad’s first interaction be after the Queen's Gambit Side Quest. Aloy and everyone just rolled up on the dock with a boba tea like surprise here's your brother.😎 And Avad was like 'Oh! So you’re Aloy. I've heard of you. Thanks!'👍 Like… you’re welcome I guess?? Bye!

Anywho, next time we are off to where it all began! To the Embrace to save the Nora! See you then!👊🔥

First of all, is it just me or are the fist options shorter than the others? Maybe because they get right into the heart of the matter? Hmm🤔

Insult to Injury - Side Quest. Jun turns on Aloy real dang quick once he finds out that she was an outcast. Rude, but Aloy holds her own. "You like to think you're better than others, don't you Jun?" She tells him he's nothing, because at least outcasts are sticking together now unlike him who’s all alone. Dayum alright. He's gonna need some medicinal berries for that burn. 1🏹

Cause for Concern – Farewell - Side Quest. Welp… Nil is dead. I still feel bad about it.😢 Nil is a friend, not foe. Granted, on a side note, he really thought he could take Aloy down?? How very rude of you sir! Rip I guess. See you later you know where. 2🏹🏹

Sun and Shadow - Side Quest. Ooooofff. This Elida quest is already hard enough but boy oh boy was this rough. Aloy said “You don’t get to do this. If you die, his sacrifice meant nothing!’ Harsh Aloy! I imagine though that she was thinking of Rost in that moment, and how important it is to keep going. That he told her to survive, and Aloy doesn’t have the option to give up now, so why should Elida? Hmm🤔 this made me think many thoughts and made feel sad for the both of them. 3🏹🏹🏹

A Curious Proposal - Side Quest. Fernund tried to ambush us, and when Aloy tracked him down, she said “A limb won’t be enough… No one would stop me. You just led a group of men to their deaths.” OMG ALOY!!! TOO MUCH!! TOO MUCH!! I mean you’re not wrong but still! And then just… nothing happened. Aloy basically said hmph you’d better not do it again! And that was that. Kind of anticlimactic honestly 1🏹

The City of the Sun – Main Quest🔥. Uuugggh. FINE. I guess I’ll go to Meridian now after Aloy and I have probably spent weeks in game avoiding it. We met up with Erend, who has been down in the dumps about his sister. Aloy said, “Then stop feeling sorry for yourself and live up to her example… Everybody loses someone they care about. Tears don't change that". Ouch Aloy… made me think she is projecting here, and that no amount of tears will bring Rost back. This one hurt me. In more ways than one. 3🏹🏹🏹

Honor the Fallen – Side Quest. Priest Jahamin is blocking the way for mourners. Aloy read this man for filth. “You believe in the old regime but not enough to be exiled. That’s some faith you have there.💅” You tell him sweetie, call him out on his bull. 1🏹

For funsies I’ve also been going back to check in on CYAN❄️ now and then. She shared that she has told the Banuk of her true origins, and they were impressed with how long CYAN had managed to survive. Huh, well I’m glad the Banuk are taking it well that there is now an ancient AI in their backyard.🤷‍♀️ I went back later, and CYAN mentioned that the shamans are eager to suggest improvements now that they know she is a highly advanced machine and CYAN politely told them um yea no thank you friends😅 maybe some other time.

And that’s it for now!🔥 I’ve been avoiding the main quest line and it’s been fun seeing the different dialogues depending on what order you choose to do things in.

Resh Confrontation. After The Proving. This man scares me and I was worries about the means things he would say to Aloy but she called him out! Basically said 'Yea? And where were YOU sir when we were fighting huh?? You little coward!' Hahaha! You tell him sweetie! 2🏹🏹

Rost’s Grave. This hurt so much. Aloy apologized for being so angry last time they spoke and it was... With the other options, you can tell that Aloy is upset and rightfully so, but this one… She really sounds like she's crying here and it just broke my heart.💔 Watch this one at your own risk if you’re soft hearted like me. I’ll never recover. 3🏹🏹🏹

The Survivor Quest.❄️ Aloy told the White Teeth that Mailen passed their test while also backhanding them right in the face. “You put her through this ordeal—she gave up everything for your rules.” Not mad at it, speak the truth. Wish Ikrie was there to see it. 1🏹

The Hunter’s Three.❄️ I just realized this is the only fist option that I ever legitimately chose in my casual playthrough. I still unironically love it and that name the most. Aloy says their name should represent what the three of them fight for. Per Tatai: “Nukoni’s Arrows. That’s what we are. Shot from her bow in the north to hit her target in the south.’ 💙🏹

Frontier Justice Quest.❄️ Inatut was left to die naked in the frozen wilds. Aloy told him at the end, “You don’t owe them anything.” That he can be his own person and think and fight for himself from now on without his werak. Nice interaction actually. Would recommend it. 1🏹

CYAN.❄️ She asks Aloy how to interact with the Banuk. Aloy tells her to tell the truth so people can start learning about the way things actually are. "Tell them you were made by the Old Ones." Cyan was like “Woah bestie, so like, then you're accusing me of lying to Ourea??” And Aloy was like “... Kinda. Yea.” Not where I expected that conversation to go and kinda feel bad about it honestly. 2🏹🏹

Aratak.❄️ After Ourea’s passing. Aloy tells him this was Ourea’s decision and we should accept that. “She was willing to fight. She wouldn’t let anything stop her.” Aratak was like ‘Damn b, you right.’ And that was that. 1🏹

That's it for now! It's been fun in NG+ seeing how many things I can get away with before advancing the story.🤔 I've 100% completed FW, and have 67% of the main campaign done currently. All without ever setting foot in Meridian.

1. Meeting Rost after becoming adult Aloy. There is so much sass from this girl. “Did SoMEonE forget we were SUPPOSED to be hunting this morning???” Rost wasn't mad, though, so neither am I. 1🏹

2. Brom. I thought this would be so much worse than it was. Aloy was very assertive, but not mean or cruel to him. “The only voice that matters is mine. Now step away from the edge.” Not bad. 1🏹

BUT the options that come AFTER this???!!! Oh my GOD!!! You can keep telling Olara that Brom is a “danger to others” and Brom will just... leave!🙃 Like "Goodbye sister! Aloy's right, I'm off to be an outcast forever now and will probably never see you again!" What the hell??? So nevermind I guess, I take it back. 2🏹🏹

3. Rost Goodbye. This was the one I was least looking forward to. Aloy threw Rost’s necklace on the ground!! “See? It's easy throwing away worthless things, isn't it?” But the hurt on her face… You could see right through it. Especially when she picked the necklace back up when he wasn’t looking.

Thinking about her reaction, her implying how she is "worthless" to Rost, had me remembering how Aloy is facing the hardest decision of her life right now. She is actively choosing to enter into a tribe that hates her. All while fully knowing that she has to leave the one person she has ever known behind. Rost is important to Aloy, and she was willing to keep that line of communication open, even if it meant being outcast again later. So his insistent goodbye must have felt like a door being slammed in her face. So I think it's very justified that she would react with anger, to make him feel as hurt as she did in that moment. I already knew Aloy was terribly hurt by this goodbye, but you can see it so much more clearly in this option. Happy that I finally mustered up the courage to see it, but man oh man did it hurt. 3🏹🏹🏹

4. Teersa after the lantern ceremony. I did not even remember this one. Aloy is, understandably, not happy that she “had to sit there and listen to the entire tribe mumble about their mothers.” Good on Teersa for not taking it personally, though. 2🏹🏹

5. Bast Confrontation. I really really wish Aloy could have just said that she doesn't remember Bast at all, just so we could watch him flounder. Because seriously dude. Your most cherished memory is hitting someone you don't even know with a rock? How pathetic🙄 But no, Aloy just basically said “I’m going to win! So there!” And that was that. Could have been meaner honestly. 0 out of 3.

6. Vala after Bast’s confrontation. Aloy's feelings are valid here. Mother’s Heart probably does stink and not just in a smelly way. A lot of the people are mean to her, and I wouldn’t want them talking to me either. Vala basically said ‘girl whatever then, just go to bed.’ And I can respect that. 1🏹

And that's it! I hate confrontation and being mean in video games, so it's been hard to just jump in and press the button sometimes.😭 But I do like seeing all the different dialogue options for the first time. And it's been fun taking notes to share!
