i want to live a life that makes me happy, to keep close with the people i love, my boyfriend and my friends, to keep growing, as we never stop learning. to read as many books as i can, watch as many movies, learn languages, perfect my hobbies, and try as many things as possible. to not let myself stray from what truly makes me me, to be true. everyone has different goals they want to reach, like the stars in the sky they’re all there next to each other, some closer, some farther apart. i believe the meaning of life is to reach out and fulfill your own goals, no matter how small they might seem, or even mundane, if it makes you content then thats all that matters. if its truly the right thing for you, everything will fall in place. ive had things happen to me i never wouldve expected and because of one simple decision i made out of uncertainty now i am surrounded by the greatest group of people i get to call my friends, and my boyfriend who i can barely believe exists sometimes as he’s the most amazing person i’ve ever met. you can’t know what happens if you have to make decisions, but the butterfly effect is a strange thing. and with time, it can cause some amazing stuff to happen. if you keep true to your values, which for me are being understanding, handworking, and trying to be kind to everyone, it will come back to you. and if you’ve reached your goal, then why wouldn’t you feel as if you’ve found the meaning of your life?
