“And unofficially?” she asked, quirking a brow, sensing that there was something the woman was leaving unsaid.  “If you’re not dead, then how come you can see me?  I’m dead,” she pointed out, her brows furrowing.  “I didn’t think that other people could see me unless they were in the same state I was in,” she muttered, crossing her arms over her chest.  She kept her lips pinched together as she considered what she was, her head nodding when she finally reached the right answer.  “You’re good.  Luckily for you, being dead leaves me at a disadvantage when it comes to you.”

“I killed myself once I had vampire blood in me. Rendering myself useless to Klaus’ ritual to become a hybrid. I couldn’t out run him as a human. The moment I transitioned. I never looked back.” Katerina Petrova died in 1492, and Katherine Pierce was born. “Maybe it has to do with both of us being supernatural. Most spirits don’t show themselves unless they want to be seen. How long have you been dead?” Katherine smiled. She had to admit she liked the ghost girl. “Suffice to say, it does for me too.”

“ why? are you jealous I never extended such a courtesy to you? ” he questions with a small quirk of a smile as he regards Katerina. She looks freer just then and perhaps it was the five years of being daggered that had her appearing like she didn’t have a price on her head. One he had put there. A sigh is taken and he gives her a somewhat knowing look. “ Are you saying that I should reclaim my throne in New Orleans? Eager to get me back as king, are you? ”

“my brother actually,” liv sighed as she grabbed a clean glass and set it down. “does the name luke ring any bells? because he remembers you since your compulsion didn’t work,” a soft giggle left her lips, knowing exactly what else had happened. their coven wanted them to keep tabs on the doppelgangers and she hadn’t been pleased with what luke did. but she couldn’t really change any of it anyways. “what do you want for your drink?”

“yea, you can theatrics already,” liv sighed as she continued wiping down the bar counter. it was just the two of them in the bar since she had closed it down earlier. “i know who you are already. katherine pierce, doppelganger that loves her heels,” she added, a hint of sarcasm in her voice as a way to tease the other woman.

“Coyote,“ Malia corrects her watching the taller women circle her as Malia stands a little taller to almost make herself appear bigger. This creature, whatever it was, was clearly a THREAT in her eyes.  "What’s it to you, anyway?” She questions boldly with furrowed eyebrows.

Katherine raised an eyebrow interested. Maybe her bite had no effect on her then? “Just making sure your not a threat to me.” The vampire said, standing in the preserve of a werewolf dominated town. 

However, the girl probably had werewolf friends. They were of a different species, so their bites could all be useless. “Maybe you could help me. I’m looking for a hunter, Gerard Argent.”

“ please - for you to claim I don’t know how to do this is a mockery. “ he states rather simply, his eyes holding hers. “ But being daggered for five years straight certainly does have its downfalls - you know that. “ at least he assumed she knew given he’s certain she’s never been before. “ Now, considering you’re a genius now - what do you know? “

"You're not suppose to be here." The vampire said, giving the were-girl blood shot eyes. The under eye veins faded, and her fangs detracted. "Hm...You're no wolf, but you're something with four legs? What could it be? " Katherine circled the girl in her seven inch heels.
