Edmund was 38 at time of his death (1803). Which is why Anthony has the fear of dying early. Netflix has not provided the revised Date of Birth for Edmund but I cannot see how they can both solve for the age gap and Anthony's fear of dying young.

Coming back to Anthony who is 29 during the events of season 2 (1814). That would mean Violet gave birth to Anthony in 1785 when she was 36 and Edmund was 21.

Women of the Ton used to debut in the marriage mart by 17/18 years of age and were considered spinsters by 26 (Kate's example).

Was Violet a spinster before Edmund? Then why was she pushing Eloise to get married at 18, and Anthony to produce an heir at 29.
