There's a moment at the end of every trip when the suitcases are packed, the car is loaded, and you realize that in just a few minutes, you'll be saying goodbye.
I've felt that moment for as long as I can remember. As a child, it meant leaving relatives after a visit. As an adult, it has followed me through work trips, cross-country moves, and visits with family after relocating from California to Washington.
