Love She Wrote In Verse

It wasn't scary when one or two kids were picked up from school that day. It just felt like a coincidence.

It was, however, downright terrifying when the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh students were called to the front office to go home.

And when I was inevitably called and the front office had the TV on loop with the video of the towers falling.

We can't forget what happened, and we can't forget the poor decision-making that followed and resulted in hundreds of thousands of more deaths. Life is precious, sad, happy, beautiful, painful and it's worth remembering that of the 6 billion people on this planet, the majority will always be Good.

Well, Boston is as beautiful as it can be for someone who can only financially afford to go there 3 days a week on the MBTA Commuter rail. 

Grad school is expensive. I’ll be in significantly more debt because of it, but I’ll also come out of it a better writer, editor, and person with an even larger wealth of oportunities.

I’m excited.

With that being said. I’ve gone to my 1st class. It was fun. It was good. It set up a packed semester.
