Anyone have any tips for making fanart? I really wanna try some but I always feel weird about it, idk. It seems easier when you're working with characters in tv or comics, because you already know what they look like, but what about for books?

I also have trouble thinking up scenarios to put the characters in...

Supernatural Fandom is so quick to ignore every wrong thing Dean and Sam did out of love for Each other, that literally almost brought the apocalypse, yet they don't stop complaining about the things Castiel HAD to do for the sake of everyone. Like he worked with Crowley to save everyone, he pulled Sam out of Hell, risking himself. Soulless, but it's not as if he left his soul in hell on purpose? Yeah, still blamed him for it though. And took his pain and became crazy. Yeah wanted to break Sam's wall for the sake of everyone too. Yes, freed the leviathan by accident, but also stopped the second apocalypse (going through a whole Civil War that Dean & Sam didn't gaf about btw) But sure, let's also forget the absolute mistreatment Castiel got from BOTH of them through season 4 to 15

season six broke my heart and Dean pissed me off so much. Cas deserved better, and the boys did care about him; but they were too messed up to properly love anyone, including themselves. Cas gets dragged around so much, but he stays, because the Winchesters are the best thing he has, and that's sad on a lot of levels.

But then again it's a fictional show and I'm pretty sure the writers cared more about making it objectively entertaining than giving the characters true emotional growth and healing.
