Chimera (2021) | Episode 13. Nothing much to see here, just some short-lived domestic moments of detective Cha Jae Hwan sharing clothes, underwear, food, and bedroom with fugitive Lee Joong Yeop.

I love you so much I wanna punch you in the face :) (x)
Gonna go ahead and dedicate this to @sangihunweek2026 at the belated last minute, because gdi, I will seal the gaping holes in this ship shut with my own desperate claws if I must.
Already wrote a ridiculous piece for anybody interested in Sangwoo suffering his usual helpless gay feelings.
My contribution to Sangihun Week 2026. Gotta be honest, I really didn't prepare for this as much as I could've. A very grip my brain through squeezing fingers experience that took an entire week to get out, but still had a fun time as I always do with these two, so hope anyone who runs across this may also have a fun time with it. As my writing tends to lean, there's a lot of their usual messy bickering & questionably-timed sex, and Sang-woo lamenting himself & his feelings for his bestie.
Ah, the fic itself would be nice too, yes??? This was inspired by day two [miscommunication] & day three [phone] of the event, by the way.
Can read A Dick on Top of Everything Else here on ao3.

!! MAJOR KARMA SPOILERS [A SHOW WHICH HINGES ON NOT BEING SPOILED] IF YOU WATCH THIS VIDEO !!
Okay so bear with me here, me bringing my partner and I's vast, private universe of Beom-jun (Karma) x Sang-woo (Squid Game) twin brother AU to the public eye, but because it's what I've been insane about the past however-long-Karma's-been-out, I had to share this for shits & giggles. Unsure if anybody but us would get anything out of this hahah. Maybe you @omelettes-s, who I have some vague memory of enjoying several versions of Sang-woo and/or Park Hae-soo's various roles interacting? [Please do not feel obligated to interact, btw, I operate mindlessly sometimes.]
In this iteration of a wide-branching AU universe, BJ and Sang-woo still live out their separate canon story plots, outside of the endings. They're twins, so they do grow up together in Ssangmun-dong, then go their separate ways probably around teen or young-adulthood, when Sang-woo goes off to college and BJ to indulge in his life's many schemes. BJ calls Sang-woo his hyung rather than the other way around just because Sang-woo was born a few minutes before him.
BJ is ironically the one more attached to Sang-woo than it is the other way around, and often tries to reach out to him to catch up, meet up, etc., but Sang-woo always dodges him because BJ has a consistent history of making his life a living hell [will spare the details of this hell].
After yet another dodge, they both get into the terrible parts of their lives. Sang-woo with the games. BJ with the job that goes horribly awry for him. But instead of their canon endings, Sang-woo survives the games, absolutely wrecked, lost Gi-hun, and on the verge of suicide ofc, and BJ also survives enough to try and give Sang-woo another last-ditch call. This time, Sang-woo actually picks up.
I like to imagine they reunite after this, the two of them ending up back home trying to recover from varying degrees of extreme trauma, reluctantly forming some semblance of a bond after the decades apart.
This video was really a ridiculous quickie/snippet I came up with as to how this would all likely [and vaguely] take place. Somewhere down the line we hc'ed that BJ would be into the band Interpol [I can't entirely remember the why of that.... @faded-smiles, you remember?], so that's why the song is what it is. But man, we've got a MASSIVE world for these two, even worlds that include more brothers. Mainly triplets, but there's been quadruplets in the brain at some points. A family of Park Hae-soo characters is really what we've done, lmao. We're known to include the Squid folks too, like Gi-hun and In-ho... have even pulled from shows like Nice to Not Meet You ahahah. Like said, many iterations.
Still tend to hc that Sang-woo is in love with Gi-hun in most of them. The characters still have their personalities from the show they're originally from, though Beom-jun may have slightly more "emotion" than portrayed in his, solely reserved for Sang-woo (and sometimes his other siblings). Twin bond & all.
