So something I noticed on first watch was Julien literally will not say Alogar's name around Thaisha. He says it once when Thaisha isn't there, and immediately gets questioned about how well he knows Alogar, and then from then on he DOESN'T say Alogar. He's "your son" or "Thaisha's son", and he sounds SO worried when he hears that Alogar is in the Barrowdell, and he absolutely lets Thaisha smack and shove him around because she's being protective of Alogar and then very delayed shoves her back, after making a very subtle roll? and later when he very quickly rolls twice after Vindalla makes fhe comment about Julien not being around to keep the trainees awake? He's 1000% rolling for if he's allowed to be subtle about his relationship with Alogar here, and the double was DEFINITELY self imposed disadvantage, and I just need to find out what that relationship exactly is.
Also you can tell he's so glad Kerzingblad is taking heat off the sexual stuff and Thaisha is focusing on Julien enabling Alogar's drinking. Like he's SOOOOO not comfortable with Thaisha asking how closely he's "trained" Alogar, and if definitely not fighting back as much as he would otherwise because he's like "no this is good. be mad at me for this, I can handle you being mad about the drinking"

So this was a big project for me (took me months because I'm slow as fuck). Artists doing this as a living are incredible, I don't know how they do it.
It's a little canon divergent/"what if" after everything the Blumentrio could rekindle their relationship (and be taken earlier from Trent).
I've listened a lot to the soundtrack of "Clair Obscur : Expedition 33" and this song was living in my head and made me think of them so here I am.
(while i'm proud of finishing it, i'm a little sick of it because it's been months but also because i lost the refs I had for this project in the early-middle part of it and i was immensely frustrated and sad about it...)
also i love that they showed astrid and wulf starting to crack once bren fell too, like they were all just white-knuckling the repression of all of those fears about what they were doing and the second one of them slips none of them can hold it back. i was wishing we saw more of them also struggling with everything that came before that, so i appreciated that touch

also astrid being angry at caleb Both because he got away (broke mentally, leaving both her and eadwulf to deal with the horrors ikithon was putting them through) And because he came back (putting himself in danger again after all it took him to get away) is so valid. like yes let them feel complex emotions about their complex relationships in their fucked up circumstances!!
