thoughts on Legundo in Naked & Afraid and Vampires SMP
I just find it very interesting that in 2 series this content creator has recently participated in, he played basically opposite characters.
V!Legundo is the super logical one. The scientifically inclined doctor who believes everything has a rational explanation. Even average minecraft stuff like zombies and skeletons. The guy who is always telling Avid that vampires don't exist.
but N&A!Legundo is the conspiracy man. His entire thing in episodes 2-4 was trying to figure out who the "Goatman", an unknown player blowing a goat horn under his team's base, was. He had an entire conspiracy board where he regularly tracked everyone's whereabouts to try and deduce who the Goatman was. (It was 4CVIT, who was trying to fake his death.)
The location tracking board became so iconic, it's even what he's associated with on the poster.
Additionally, V!Legundo is the doctor. The only one who knows or cares about the MC tech of crafting regeneration suspicious stews with oxeye daisies. He gave several out to other players for medicine.
But N&A!Legundo is this guy who's usually the one asking for more oxeye daisies for crafting aforementioned regeneration stew. (In N&A S2, regeneration stew was used frequently due to the server having an "ultra hardcore" plugin that turned off natural regen from eating, they had to get the regeneration effect to heal any damage taken.) The other players were going exploring, collecting resources, even eventually building an oxeye daisy farm, while he sat at base, upgrading facilities, updating the location tracking board, and trying to get clues to identify the Goatman.
N&A!Legundo's last words were asking for the other players to give him healing in the Trial Chamber where he would die. V!Legundo is seemingly the only one who cares about the regeneration stew mechanism to give it out to others.
VSMP still has quite a ways to go, so I'm looking to see how his character evolves over the storyline.

I've also been connecting the moment in NAH (No Armor Hardcore) when Legundo is alone at the base. He's just calls out to the Goat Man like "hey, you don't have to say anything. You don't have to reveal yourself, just leave a sign under the potatoes"
Vs Dr. Legs doing the same voice and tactic with the vampires. Mostly Owen and Pyro. The NAH!Legs and V!Legs may be on opposite sides of the spectrum but they both go "it's okay, I'm not gonna hurt/pressure you" to the unknown creature in the woods. I think it's hilarious
Also, it makes so much sense how Legundo knows the exact suspicious stew recipe. I thought he just looked it up outside the series or something, but nope. Just has the recipe memorized from NAH.
