Toshinori gave him a timid smile as he scratched the back of his head, shrugging slightly. “Oh, I’ve been around. It’s just that I’ve mostly been working on different side projects on top of keeping up with paperwork, that’s all. Before I knew it, most of my time was being sucked away.”

Despite having seen Hizashi around, it was nice to actually have the time to talk to him. Honestly, he felt a tad guilty for not spending more time with him.

He would have to change this.

“But ah– I was wondering if you’d like to come over for dinner? Perhaps a movie?”

Dinner…?        And a movie?

A lop-sided grin came onto Hizashi’s lips; the man almost brightening up instantly because of it. Gently going to elbow the taller man in the side, he couldn’t but to look up at him.

If Toshinori was sunshine, then currently Hizashi was the moon shining it back just as brightly.

“Wonderful! When should I expect you? U--Unless you’re free now, then...--”

“I need mobility, I can’t wear too many layers” The problem was that he was now stiff from the cold. He was about to tell him to go home and stop fretting over him when he heard multiple engines, the sound approaching fast.

Toshinori was suddenly cut off by the other which left him blinking in surprise until he heard the telltale sound of engines in the distance. That must be what Aizawa had been waiting for... and now he was in the way.
