I've seen "I don't know how to play with toys anymore" a few times lately and just wanted to point out-
Playing with toys looks different for everyone, even actual children!
Playing with toys can look like: đ§¸đŞđ
Taking pictures of your toys and writing captions for them
Brushing or grooming soft toys or toys with rooted hair
Ordering or sorting your toys by colour/species etc
Making up stories, poems or comics about your toys
Dressing or accessorising your toys
Imagining your toys talking to you or each other, forming opinions of their own, etc
Drawing your toys
Taking your toys for a walk outside, even in a backpack or pocket if you don't want to carry them openly
Making lists of the toys you have and where you got them etc
Feel free to add your own ideas
edit: wow tysm for all da reblogs and likes :DD I didn't expect this to blow up :3
tea time game <3
i wanna ride a bike, go swimming, play at the park, dig in dirt, pick flowers, and climb trees and rocks. i crave the outdoors.
I can't wait for warmer weather (ââżâ)

đ đ i'm so proud of you! (cg pampering) đ đ
welcome home, my little seashell! you made it through the day, and now itâs time to let the tide carry all your worries away đ
i can see those sleepy little eyes and that wiggly, fidgety energyâschool took a lot out of you today, didnât it my little starfish? thatâs okay, because now you donât have to be big anymore! come here, my tiny little baby, let papa take care of you. đ
i want you to know how incredibly proud i am of you. every single day, you do your best, and thatâs all i could ever ask for. even when things feel tricky, when the waves get a little too high, you always find a way to swim through. you are so, so strong, my little guppy. đ
whether today was easy or tough, whether you did big things or just made it through, i am proud of you all the same. you are enough, exactly as you are. every step you take, no matter how small, is a ripple in the oceanâproof that you are always moving forward. đ
you can rest now, little one. let yourself float in the comfort of knowing that i see you, i believe in you, and i will always be proud of youâjust like the sea is always proud of its waves. đ
Discreet Regressor Things đ
DO NOT BUY GEAR IF YOU ARE RISKING YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY. JUST DON'T DO IT! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!
I have to regress discreetly at home since I live with a parent who would not be understanding of it or view it negatively.
Some of these things are free, some of these things cost money:
Make a playlist on Spotify/Youtube/etc to listen to while you're regressed. If you listen with headphones, nobody will ever know what you're listening to. Internet Archive has tons of free music you can download.
Put a plushie clip/keychain on your bag. If you are unable to carry a regular plushie with you, you can still kind of bring one with you by attaching one to your bag.
If you want to buy kids coloring books, an alternative excuse to "It's to relax/to help my anxiety" could be... "I saw these videos on YouTube where people elevate kids coloring pages by using advanced art supplies, or even changing the pictures slightly with liquid white-out and pens. It looked really cool and I want to try it."
Loft beds! (If you can afford one and are physically able to climb a ladder/steps into the bed) The rails on the bed can feel similar to being in a crib. The excuse for wanting one could be you wanted to save space in your room, and you're able to put a desk, dresser, shelves, etc under your bed.
Wearing oversized hoodies. They can sometimes make you feel smaller. Just say it feels more cozy/comfy since it's oversized. An idea is wearable blankets. They are usually oversized, perfect if you live somewhere that gets cold, and they come in a lot of cute designs or patterns!
Video games! There are lots of free mobile games (with minimal to no ads) like Animal Jam, Pokemon Playhouse, PBS Kids Games, and Neko Atsume! If you have a computer or laptop, you can find a lot of games you might have played as a kid on Internet Archive for free (some may not run on newer computers, though). Steam has every Humongous Entertainment game for a few dollars each. If you have a Switch, you can make your Animal Crossing island themed to your regression! There's even pacis that you can give your character, and you can fill your house with toys!
Getting plushies and saying you just like the character, or it's one of your favorite animals.
If you're able to go to the store alone and you want to buy something like a toy, but the packaging would make it too bulky to sneak into the house, bring with you something like scissors, a pocket knife, nail clippers, or anything that can cut. Open the packaging outside the store/in your car and take all the pieces out, and put it in your bag (you can bring a reusable shopping bag that you can't see through!), then dispose of the packaging in a trash can at the store or swing by a trash can at a gas station before you go home.
Most of my gear I buy, if I can I wait until around someone's birthday, father's/mother's day, Christmas, etc. Usually at that time, I can go shopping by myself. So whenever I buy something, whether it's at a store or online, I can use the excuse "It's a secret, it's a gift."
YouTube, YouTube Kids, PBS Kids video app or the PBS Kids website, Tubi, Fandango at Home (previously called Vudu), and Internet Archive have tons of free TV shows and movies! Some local libraries have movies or shows you can stream for free on their website if you have a library card. Ask your library if they have something like this.
If you can't have physical kids/picture books, look for videos on YouTube of someone reading a book to you.
Small plastic bins are your best friend, especially if they are opaque and/or have a lid. If you know someone is going to be coming into your room, or the possibility that someone will go in your room when you're not home, the bin is very easy to quickly toss in your closet or shove under your bed out of sight.
Plushie backpacks! A backpack that looks like a plushie. It gives you an excuse to carry around a plushie in public, and you can hide small things inside the zipper pocket (usually the space inside these kind of bags isn't very big)
If you want to have a regression corner in your room, but you can't have it openly in your room, see if you can make one on the floor in your closet! Put some blankets and pillows to make it more comfy.
Hide flat-ish things in your pillowcases.
Some small things can be hidden in hoodie pockets in your closet (the pocket with the thing hidden in it facing towards the back of your closet)
Journals with locks on them (the locks are extremely easy to pick open, but at least it's a small deterrent for people snooping). Or download a journaling app on your phone, or just use Google docs/Microsoft Word/etc.

âđź Age Regression Writing Prompts!!! đźâ
Iâve been reading age regression stories for years, and it wasnât until earlier today that I realized: thereâs no age regression writing prompts!!! Thatâs crazy!!!
So, without further adieu, hereâs some prompts in case any writers out there want to write some nice regression stories but have no idea what to write! Character A is the regressor/little and character B is the caregiver!
â Reveals/Beginning of Relationship Prompts â
1. Character A slips and does something they exclusively do in headspace in front of B.
2. Character B goes to Aâs room to grab something, only to stumble upon Aâs little gear.
3. Character B stops by Aâs place without any prior warning, leading them to walk in on A being deep in little space.
4. Character A lives a stressful life. One day B suggests age regression so A wonât be so worked up all the time.
5. Character B has noticed a bunch of Aâs little ticks. They decide to slowly start babying them in order to ease them into the whole age regression business.
6. Character A and B have been good friends/dating/work together for a while now. For one reason or another, theyâre going to be moving in together! A feels that itâs time to reveal to B that theyâre an age regressor.
â Classic⢠Scenarios â
7. Character A and B have been working all week, and itâs finally the weekend! To de-stress, both decide upon a full weekend in little space!
8. Character B is cooking/baking and A wants to help! A is usually able to help, but this time, theyâre deep in little space.
9. Character A has gone to sleep while big, but after a nightmare, they wake up in little space.
10. Character A hasnât had much sleep for one reason or another, and because of this, theyâre a little cranky - even if they wonât admit it. B has the monumental task of getting A to take a nap.
11. Character A got hurt/sick and now has to deal with B fussing over them.
12. Character A and B decide to build the most extravagant pillow fort they can build in their living room - how extravagant it is may be up to debate, but it sure is comfortable.
13. Character A so enthralled by their show/movie/game/toys that they keep putting off a bathroom break.
14. Character A and B decide to do some arts and crafts. Maybe itâs for a holiday, maybe for a birthday, or maybe itâs just for fun, no matter what A makes, B thinks that itâs a work of art.
15. Somehow, character A has gotten dirty, so B decides that itâs bathtime.
16. Character A and B go out to have a little day. They visit a park/zoo/movies/carnival/theme park and have a great time.
17. Character B takes A to the toy store to buy their first little toy/stuffie.
18. While shopping, character A gets distracted and loses track of where B is. Unfortunately, they were also teetering between headspaces, and now theyâre little and lost.
19. Character B has been working in secret for a while now, and they are finally finished: a nursery/playroom for A!
20. Character A is in a rambunctious mood and canât help but feel a desire to push some limits.
21. Character A and B were watching a scary movie/show when, after a particularly bad scare, A slips into little space.Â
22. Character A wants to play pretend/dress-up/tea party and ropes B into playing along.
23. Character A is in little space, but is trying their hardest to make sure that B doesnât know.
24. Character A and B have a quiet moment and cuddle.
25. Itâs bedtime and character B is getting A ready for bed.
And thatâs all I got for right now! Feel free to mix and match the prompts and to add any other prompts you can think of! I hope this helps any writers out there that needed something to get the ball rolling!
