i hate this fucking "i'm just a girl" brand of feminism bc it is so easy for young women in their 20s who are afraid of big changes and personal growth to revert to depending on their gender and the associated fragility of it so that they can make it through life when really they're just trapping themselves in a position where they cannot and will not grow out of that fear.

The motivation behind so many relationships is just an investment in not being alone. If you’re getting married young and it’s not for financial or child related reasons most of the time I really believe it’s just to try and secure the guarantee someone won’t leave you like it’s a bargaining deal it’s so clinical I often wonder how many married couples even like eachother

This is not just straight people in fact I think a lot of gay people settle for people they’re not happy with because there’s a smaller dating pool and they think if they don’t settle they’ll be alone forever
