I mean here’s the thing. Tucker Rule IS a superior drummer. But to like, every second & third wave emo band ever. He is the Ray Toro of Thursday. Sorry!!!!

I do think there’s something inherently funny about hiring Tucker Rule to play a marching snare and a few percussion hits that maybe is lost on some people. MCR-only fans that’s like if someone paid for all of Ray Toro’s flights and hotels rooms for an international stadium tour only for his job onstage to be coming out and playing power chords on the ukulele

Why’s that? Just meant in the sense that he’s got a virtuosic command of his instrument even beyond writing good music within his genre. Dude’s a generational talent! Obviously they’re not the same person or anything and have wildly different backgrounds and personalities, I was just making an off the cuff comparison for MCR fans who aren’t heavy listeners of his music.
