Far left arseholes attacking, abusing and intimidating Jews, ostracising them from public life, calling them “baby killers”, allying themselves with extremist antisemitic groups, believing they’re morally righteous for doing so.

Real - the double standards are so blatant. So many countries on earth with current and historic human rights abuses and atrocities on record, including my own, who at one point colonised and enslaved half of the planet in the name of empire. And yet, people understand the concept of not assigning collective responsibility to citizens because of their government's actions.

That's funny, I don't see you criticizing Russia the same way. I don't see you criticizing China the same way. Afghanistan. Syria. Yemen. Iraq. Iran. Turkmenistan. North Korea. The list goes on

That's interesting as I'm russian myself, dumbass, tell me more about how we, russians, are firebombed at protests, blocked from student campuses, called baby killers, vermin, how russian neighborhoods are filled with people screaming for our blood, how random russians are blocked from cafes and stopped in the streets and harassed over Putin's war simply because they're russian.

Do people not see the double standard they have so clearly made?

One of the most popular shows right now is one featuring a Russian character (Ilya from Heated Rivalry). And he is undeniably Russian, he was born in Russia, he has a Russian accent, he has a Russian name.

Russia is still invading Ukraine. This conflict is way less complicated than what has been going on between Israel and Palestine. And yet, no one complains that there is a Russian present, no one thinks it as odd. And why should they? That would be ridiculous.

And yet, any time Israel gets mentioned in any piece of media, even if in the smallest way. It is immediately called propaganda.

This is a perfect time to read the brilliant and unforgettable graphic novel(s) Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, about growing up in Iran during and after the Iranian Revolution, and the rise of the oppressive theocracy that persists to this day.
