Hi friends! For some of my newer followers I wanted to Take some time to introduce myself. . My name is Alisha Eich (pronounced ‘Ike’ for those of you that thought it was pronounced ‘Eech’) I feel a lot which thrusts my very existence and all that I do in this world but also can be my biggest stumbling block and downfall. . I feel a lot towards God and always feel like I can’t express enough of my heart to Him in a moment, so I keep doing it over and over and somehow it gets sweeter and sweeter. Melodies and music speak to my heart in ways I can’t explain. I fully love Him and want to write and express my heart to Him in song. But because of this deep desire to please and serve him I sometimes freeze and don’t give anything when I allow my insecurities to hold me back, tricking myself into thinking that what I have to offer will never be good enough anyways so what’s the point. I’m learning that Gods grace and joy for us, his kids, is beyond and not reciprocate based on what I can offer or give to him. It just gives, loves, it’s unending and unconditional. Thank God! . I love to sing...more then is normal. My siblings used to get annoyed of me and would tell me to please stop singing more then speaking, like normal people. My life is a musical. . I feel a lot towards my family, immediate and larger. Family is probably the biggest priority for me in life and is why I post so many videos in my story about their cuteness and amazingness.😝 . I get to be Phoenix and Gemma’s mom!! Which is the best job ever!! . I have a dog named Bella who is hairier then your dog, don’t try to argue it, and is the weirdest and most beautiful Husky there ever is and was. . I feel a lot for my husband @codyeichtattoo, who is an amazing tattooer, father and friend and is also the most generous and handsome person I know. 😘 . I am an ‘all in’ person. I just need to speak life into this guy today. Watching @timrickmann start working on/producing this new song that I wrote with me this week is so inspiring. One small seemingly meaningless idea, leads to another, then another and eventually you’re left with a beautiful sound that left me so excited. He is full of a creativity that just oozes Gods joy and peace over it. When he creates it’s a unique thumbprint that leaves a mark and when he sings a humble but powerful authority rises up that leaves you feeling the presence of God in a real way that changes you. I have always looked up to him and will always. I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time we were planning and arranging. 😆🙌🏻☺️ I’m still trying to convince him to sing a duet with me hehe It will happen some day. Pressures off. I’ve spent a lot of my life doing what I loved the most...playing music, writing music, singing, and creating. As a kid that’s all I ever wanted to do and even as an adult I found myself wanting to sing & write music that would inspire people towards the truth, towards hope, towards God. I found fulfillment in that and was so motivated to create and that hasn’t changed in me, but life has. Over the past 5 years my life has been filled with another piece that has become even more precious to me then music...my husband, my home and my child, soon to be children. I’ve found the challenge pouring myself into ‘home’ while trying to maintain being creative and having energy to create very hard to accomplish. I ended up feeling like I had failed, I should be doing more, working harder, cutting back on home life to somehow achieve the ‘success’ I had in my brain and heart. I lived with constant pressure of not wanting to fail in the things God’s put in me. Over the past half a year I feel like I had intentions of making space to write, sing and record before having our second child but honestly haven’t had the energy to even sit down and pick up a pencil more then a few times. This tiredness was daunting and so hard to live with until I gave myself permission to just rest. I gave myself permission to lay something I love aside for a bit so I can focus on the season that I’m in. I am a woman, wife, mother and I want to be the best I can be for my home and for God. Life is long & sometimes the pressure of ‘live everyday as if it’s your last’ brings inspiration but can also bring incredible dissatisfaction and discontentment to where you’re at right now. I have been learning to find peace in the process and am doing my best to rest and enjoy the time I am in with God and my family. I will write more music, I will never stop singing and making melodies for Him, myself and others but sometimes it’s ok to stop, for a moment or a season and breath. Living without pressure or expectation frees you to live day by day in joy & contentment. I am wired to be a dreamer, but sometimes dreamers need to see what’s right in front of them & live today.

It's so fun to see each one of them continually and unwaveringly, over the years, press into their own callings and gifts for the sake of Gods kingdom.
