did you read the lyrics to unknown (till the end)?? where he says “ERROR - no better options” and it cuts to Mizi? he cannot process his feelings for ivan - it would be too destabilizing (see: blink gone). that is why those feelings get displaced onto Mizi, someone he knows is unattainable.
