Less actual karaoke, more heartache, a meditation on the “ecstatic truth” to be found there. It’s about both solitude and isolation, and the complex intersection of the two, how they actually blur together, how we push the world away while seemingly still in need of a deeper communion, but when we seek it we only feel more alone and desire to be more alone.
