Slight rant ahead:

Ah yes, you’re so incredibly normal for sending ⚰️ threats to a 13 year old yumeshipper over a cartoon character that’s been possessed by a demon for centuries and has said has a mother in law (but they love forgetting that quote when trying to prove he’s a ‘literal child’).

It’s not that serious, and if you feel that strongly about something so harmless I fear you haven’t watched this show properly because this show is certainly not holding back and is not for the puritans at all. Like. At all.

As if the history of c-n-c didn’t exist in the k**nk/b-d-s-m community.

As if there aren’t studies and psychologists literally saying it’s actually a VERY common kink and perfectly NORMAL

C-N-C is a roleplay. It’s a fantasy. The fantasy is the ‘NC’ portion. The ‘C’ part is the consent you’re giving to the fantasy. To play pretend. If it’s anything other than a MASTERPIECE…

Seeing as her views have been aligning so well with old voldy, I think she would do phenomenal work bringing the character to life in a new, fresh way while also keeping his core prejudices and being true to his character.

Turning a previously male character into a woman could be such an interesting perspective…wouldn’t it?

The entire core of being a yandere is that it’s NOT NORMAL. It’s TOXIC.

Obsession is inherently TOXIC.

And no the character doesn’t have to murder people to be a proper Yandere (though that also contradicts ‘soft Yanderes’ who murder and stalk…they’re still toxic. No such thing as a ‘soft yandere’). There are key elements that make a yandere a real Yandere.

Some of y’all just want a normal romance story with a loyal love interest that’s soft and only has eyes for you and that’s okay.

But it’s not a yandere.

Not without the toxic obsession. Not without acknowledging the fact that you cannot be a yandere without it being psychological and yes it is inherently abusive.

If the character doesn’t -need- your love/affection/attention—

It’s not a yandere.

If the character is ‘not toxic and would never harm you emotionally or physically for any reason’.

It’s not a yandere.

If the character is a ‘soft yandere’, due to the entire point of what a -Yandere- is, they would still have to exhibit toxic, problematic, obsessive boundary-crossing traits in order to qualify as a yandere. Otherwise—

It’s not a yandere.

And Alastor simply not being able to resist the opportunity to put Lucifer in his place.
