I need your help, I'm trapped in a cliche.

would it be immoral for me to ship Yvgeny with Lucetrix... they're both just so broken and screwed up that it'd be perfect

I think this is the first time anyone has approached me asking if it's okay for them to ship any character I play with another player's character, much less a minion of my character.

Shallow answer: Obscured faces are cool, and require less rendering in both one's mind and art.

Deeper answer: Personally speaking I find faces mildly off-putting, when it comes to their appeal to me. I do not find people to be ugly, nor am I a misanthrope of some description, but I find it counterintuitively more personable to have a blank-canvas of a face that you can project emotion onto, based on tone of voice, body stance, or other visible characteristics.

I am far more impressed by a deeply character driven individual, who does not have to rely on an observable and obvious face to get their emotions across. It also leaves more room for personalization and interesting features beyond the face, which forces me to get more creative with other ways they can convey personality. Simplicity is nice, whether it's just some eyes, just a mouth, or even absolutely nothing, it makes you think more about how to convey such things.

Hiding the face can also be used as a delayed-release reward to add further personality to someone. Why do they obscure their face? What's the mystery? Is there one, or do they simply cover it because they can? What's waiting to be discovered?
