I dont wanna shop online fucking ever anymore.
Is the site a scam?
Are the reviews real?
Is the product real?
Is the image ai generated and how much does the thing i would be spending money on ACTUALLY look like the fucking image.
I am 34 years old and people older than me look at me like im fucking insane when I say I would rather drive my car to a store than have fucking 20 minute delivery on some shit thats probably garbage assuming I get it at all and dont just have to call my bank to get my money back.
I work in bank fraud and it's literally so bad. I'm actively telling the people who call me "don't click on any ads because they're unregulated. If you didn't actively seek it out but it feels conveniently like what you've been thinking of getting recently, it's probably an ad. If it's not a major retailer, it may be a scam site and you may be buying garbage. Even then, be careful. If the major retailers are selling brands that are just a series of letters with a brand you've never heard of, that's probably fake (looking at amazon on this one but it's far from the only one)! Check the URLs because maybe it's a fake thing made to look like a trustworthy spot. Use Paypal because they have a robust challenging metric when it turns out it was a scam in the end."
It's all just so exhausting. Why can't we just have nice things. Why are the megacorporations complicit and allowed to profit off the advertisement dollars that part people from their money without providing anything other than landfill fodder. When did it get this way?
