Apparently I'm everyone's emergency contact at work now. 😒😒😒

I'm officially not the assistant manager anymore, but somehow I'm still expected to magically fix everything. My coworker just texted me asking why I didn't schedule someone for 8 a.m. Oh, right. Silly me. I forgot I'm apparently responsible for problems that stopped being my responsibility a long time ago.Even if my manager is off sick, there are things she has to deal with herself. 🤨

I've had a grand total of five vacation days this year. Five. Meanwhile, everyone else has managed to take two or three weeks off, some after spending weeks on sick leave, while I've just kept showing up because, apparently, the place would collapse if I didn't.

The last couple of months have been an absolute masterpiece. My child has been struggling with Crohn's disease again, so sleep has basically become a luxury. I handled two workplace onboardings on my own, collected every cold and somehow I'm still expected to smile and fix everyone else's mess. 🙃🙃

Anyway, two weeks of vacation are finally around the corner.
