And fill rivers with their imagined grief,

this visage sits in shreds.

what was a halo's lost its edge.

that hollow feeling's bleeding in.

and did the meaning flit

as fast as all that laughter?

all that balking at disasters

crashing past our afterwards.

i want to heal the sick.

this body's drawing breath.

i'll wash away the tears and

set the bones, and

we will meet

and then

I will reveal

all my colors

to you.

I will be

your canvas,

yours alone.

so, if possible,

try not to boast,

for I am priceless.
