I feel like all you Americans need to take a look at what happened here in the UK after Maggie Thatcher died. Because when it comes to tasteless celebrations fuelled by anger and the death of a hated political leader, we REALLY pushed the boat out. We had street parties. We had burning effigies. We pushed “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead” to the top of the charts out of sheer hatred. Bone up kiddos, and I really hope you manage to do that truly American thing, of dramatically outdoing us with your celebrations.

I know a lot of lesbians that used to identify as bi who worried that coming out as a lesbian would contribute to invalidating bisexuality in some way, by making it seem like a “stepping stone” to coming out as gay. I’ve also known bi women who identified as lesbians and changed their labels later, and worried that they were contributing to some kind of idea about how men can ~turn lesbians. I just wanted to say that it’s no individual lesbian or bi women’s responsibility to fix straight people’s perceptions of us. Like, it’s not your duty to serve as a political symbol! It’s your duty to find happiness even if that means changing ur label at some points.

Why do we shame girls for their underwear? So what if a girl wears panties from a package. If they’re comfortable they’re comfortable. You’re not a slob or a child because you wear what makes you feel good. Women are shamed for so much stop making basic underwear one of those things. Same goes for people that buy really nice and sexy panties. Wear what’s comfortable. Don’t let people slut shame you for wearing fancy panties and thongs. It’s underwear. It’s there to keep our pants and other garments clean and our genitals from being irritated.

Why are people shamed for what they use when they’re menstruating? If pads are more comfortable for you or if tampons and mentrual cups intimidate you that’s fine! As long as you’re being safe and sanitary (to the best of your ability) it’s fine. Don’t make people feel like you’re a child for preferring pads.
