I don't know if you know and watched 'animation life' made by black plasma studios ( squared media), but if you did, what do you think the characters from your ua will think about the alternative squared media versions?

ok, so i have watched it, a long time ago, and i rewatched it just now to answer this (though it was on 2x speed and i was skipping a lot lmao) and well, there's actually a lot of ways i could answer this lol

first off, it needs to be noted that my minecraft au thinks that they are the most original versions of their characters because they grew sentient before their world went on its own big bang, before "players" got to access their universe, they were the ones in charge.(the world building is actually so painfully complicated that even i don't understand myself sometimes, i'm sorry bout that)

so for my minecraft au, they basically think of the squared media universe as some sort of movie. they see themselves within the characters to an extent (because i gotta admit, squared media inspired A LOT of my minecraft headcanons, i used to be obsessed with their vids before) but seeing their counterpart is more like seeing lookalike actors for them. it's just another universe in the long line of universes where "players" and "otherworlders" use their faces, their avatars, and their skins to gain access to their world of minecraft.

but my herobrine thinks that himbeing the villain in another adaptation is becoming boring

alex thinks it's got a decent amount of her character and personality right

steve is pretty indifferent but he will admit that he's lowkey flattered that most of the universes consider him a main character

notch, well, we don't know what notch thinks of it. he just smiles or something
