Here, two special human variants, named Steve & Alex (also called the Wayfarers), have been exploring and trying to survive. They've been here a while, with various campsites set up across the Overworld, and even gaining an animal companion (a Tamed Wolf that got named Dennis [not pictured]).

I wanted to try a more faithful take on the Minecraft art style inspired by a Japanese artist I found on Bluesky who does these gorgeous 2D arts, but it's been so long that I now forgot who was the inspiration and I ultimately don't think their art influenced the final piece too much lol
