I was at my boyfriend’s grandmother’s house. I was spending the night, and she let me stay in one of the guest bedrooms, which was full of porcelain dolls. On one hand, I do think they’re sorta pretty but they mostly just creep me out with how they stare. One in particular though, was a doll that was facing the corner so I couldn’t see its face. It was like it was playing hide and go seek and the doll was ‘it’. Every time I looked at it I felt like it was getting ready to turn around, shouting ‘ready or not, here I come!’ It was ridiculously unnerving and I couldn’t even go near the thing without feeling chilled. So glad when we left.
