help i’m thinking about people writing hello on walls and putting smiling photographs in bottles and heart emoji anons and the way we wiggle at each other in games to say i am friendly and we call it dancing and the robot we sent into the unknown called perseverance or “percy” that can sing happy birthday to itself i’m thinking about that poem that says “mostly we don’t want to hurt each other” again

I’m ok. I’m gonna be ok. I’m gonna live a beautiful life and I’ll get to know beautiful people. I will create things of beauty and be surrounded by flowers. And I’ll love myself, and I’ll be soft, I’ll be kind. And I’ll be ok.

The feeling when you hear a song that reminds you of someone who’s not in your life anymore? The song you associated too much with someone and now there’s a strange void in your heart that can’t seem to fill even after years. Like Wdym it’s a love song but I’m sad after listening to it. It feels like it’ll just keep reminding you of them forever.

They should invent a method of asking for reassurance that nobody secretly hates you that doesn't make people secretly hate you.

When a newborn first looks at their mom, the smile on that face is poetry. When a flower patiently waits for a bee to bring the pollen of its mate. When a tree falls yet grows in steady stubborn ways. When a car slows down to let squirrels pass. When two bangles clank and dance and sing with their owner. i think as adults it’s our responsibility to be nice to kids and treat them with the respect we wish we got at that age and im not kidding or exaggerating in the least
