Lithromantic folks, your experiences are valid. Accepting your identity does not mean you are repressing some other part of you. Finding peace and understanding in that label is incredible.

I often think about how glad I am that I found a word that explains so much of myself. An identity that I can use to convey my experience (even if only at the most essential and specific of levels) to people who never understood what it meant when I said "I don't do romance". It's funny how simply having a single specific word to use to describe yourself can create a comfort of "there's other people like me" and "my experiences are real and not weird or pathological". In many ways I'm grateful for finding the aro community, and even though my drawing skills are sub-par, I wanted to do something visual that conveyed even a fraction of the gratitude I have towards the aro community for showing me that I wasn't as alien and abnormal as people always implied I was.

Any other variation on that situation where you experience attraction outside of your label? Cool. You don’t have to change it if it’s what feels right to you, and that’s really all that matters.
