“Hah, are y’kidding me? I wouldn’t leave your side     for a single second if I could, I thought y’knew that!”

     He gave a smile, warm as always; perhaps Piko wasn’t very good at putting his true feelings into words (sadness was hard to explain for all kinds of  people, after all), but he’d definitely  try his darnedest  to make him feel better anyway.

His gaze wanders down at the others arms. This is what Piko wanted right now, but he still felt a little uneasy. His mood was still draining away all of his energy. He honestly didn’t really care anymore on what kind of actions he’d do next. As in actions that would maybe probably embarrass him the next day when he thinks about it.

Right now, he just moved closer in to the other and gave him a tight squeeze. It felt nice to hug someone you hold dear. He was going to enjoy this moment as long as he could. It felt extra relaxing this time to hug Len.

The squeezing became tighter as Piko gently snuggled his face into the others neck.

     “Are y’sure? Y’know y’can tell me anything.         If y’are sick though, let me take care of you, yeah?”

“ ... I... Know that already, but have you ever thought that maybe... I don’t have a reason for feeling down? ...Well, not that I am feeling down or anything. “ He didn’t mean for that to come out in a cold tone, really-

SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH, the male didn’t react harshly to the others petting. He didn’t really mind it, nor did he really care at this point.

“ Ah, Len... “ He mumbles. Even though he was taller than the blonde, he leaned in and covered his face on Len’s shoulder.

        “I was afraid y’d be scared n’ back away, y’know?             Y’always do that!” 

           More laughter. He can’t help it! He’s so happy! (Alright Len, calm down, you  are the one who takes the initiatives here, so  you need a clear mind! To word things properly…)         The boy’s icy blue eyes expectantly gaze up at Piko’s mismatched ones, his  own free  hand  reaching to  gently cup  around the  other’s cheek. It’s so warm… Ah, will he ever stop feeling so marveled at seemingly every detail of this person’s existence?

“ You’re just... An idiot... T-That tells lies! I wouldn’t run away from something like this, h-how pathetic... “

The male pouted like the kid he was. What was with the other and his touchings? Not that Piko didn’t like it or anything, but it was making him pretty nervous.

“ ...Huh- “

A moment of silence for Piko until he realizes what the other said.

...And as soon as he realized, he brought his hands up to cover his mouth. Now his face was turning completely red.

“ HUH-- K-Kiss-!? N-No uh.. W-Wai- U-Uuuuh.. I-Isn’t that too sudden...!? “ Hold on, didn’t they kiss before-?

“ ... Awawawa-- “

     “So y’do want to be with me…?!          I’m, I’m so happy!”

  His cherished, beloved Piko, the one that has taken over his heart and dreams for countless days and nights… is finally officially his partner!

     “I love you, Piko! I promise I’ll make y’the happiest person in the world,            ‘cause y’ve already done that for me!”

How come that always this guy could get me so flustered? ;

It was always Len, no one else. He never felt this way towards anyone else but Len, did that mean that he truly did love him? Well, Piko knew that by now, but he never expected himself to get caught off guard by this idiot so much...

“ I-Idiot... If I accepted your confession then of course I’d want to be with you. What are you thinking in that little head of yours? “

   Time to gather up courage and stop averting his eyes. Len steps forward to close the distance between the two  down to a more intimate level, and takes hold of Piko’s hands too. He can’t mess up! The boy intends for this to be the first and last time he’ll need to ask this.

           “Piko! I r-really… really love ya! M-more than anythin’!                N’ I wanna be able t’tell the whole world                  that I’m with you, and y’are with me, s-so–” 

  Nervous, Len pauses for a moment to regain composure. And then, with a softer, more timid voice, he finally makes the question.

The feeling of being nervous just grows when the other comes closer to him. Not only that, but also his face starts to heat up even more. C’mon, keep your cool, Piko! Don’t make a fool of yourself.

“ W-Wa- “ He quickly stops himself from saying anything more. He doesn’t want to cut off the other and he wonders what the other has to say too. 

This just felt like he was in a romance movie.

And then it happened, the question. The question Piko didn’t expect to hear. Because he doesn’t know anything about love.

“ ...--U-Uh... “

“ ... “ The male was too shocked to answer right away. His eyes started to gaze around the place, just to avert the others gaze. I mean, he knew that he liked Len, right? So the answer is obvious... But why was it so hard to say it?

“ .. E-Ehm... “ His heart beats even faster than it did when Len came closer. He really is too nervous to speak now, so he decides to give Len a small nod to answer his question, then another nod, but a more obvious one.
