Ordinary people are working at factories and making bombs. Ordinary people are going to the occupied cities to settle there. Ordinary people taking the abducted children for "re-education". Ordinary people doing all the soft power work and whitewash state's crimes. Ordinary people launching missiles. Ordinary people go to newly occupied territories for vacations. Ordinary people do nothing and say nothing about state's crimes even when they have a chance. Ordinary people teach their kids to be the same.

And ordinary people loudly play victims while sending you death threats and calling you slurs. Ordinary people are telling the people their government bombing that they deserve to be bombed. Even if they were claiming they hate their government just a moment ago.

Army consists of ordinary people who decided to go to kill people in another country for some cash.

It's the fourth year of the full-scale invasion and the twelfth year of Russia's war against Ukraine as a whole. Thousands of statements saying – "We are deeply concerned". Thousands more saying – "We must stand united".

And yet, when it comes to allowing Russian soldiers into Europe, the deciding factor is the money they bring as tourists. Some countries are literally worried about losing tourism revenue, regardless of where that money comes from.

People were outraged when the Olympic Committee argued that sport should be a "second chance" for people, regardless of what they had done during the war.

But Europe is effectively doing the same thing through tourism.

So in Europe, it's entirely possible for a Ukrainian refugee — a mother with her child, for example — to run into the very person who killed her relatives, committed sexual violence against civilians, took part in torture, or committed other war crimes, simply because he came there for a vacation.

Tonight's attack targeted primarily residential buildings in Kyiv. Ballistic missiles can be intercepted reliably only by Patriot missiles, which Ukraine has an extreme shortage of.

The russian army pounded residential buildings in Kyiv with missiles and drones all night. According to the State Emergency Service, at least 15 residential buildings were damaged or destroyed.

It was an operation performed by our police which involved creating a massive database of queer people, they would track those people down, force them to sign documents, provide fingerprints, make confessions, denounce their partners or colleagues.

Today I actually watched a video review on the russian history textbook for 11th grade (in Ukrainian), and one of the things that stood out to me was that they often wouldn’t source their insane claims, instead opting for an indirect “it is widely known”, “it is a fact that” etc.

Presenting something absurd as a fact and not expecting any questions is raised in them since school, I suppose, and spreads onto their supporters as well.

Also, there would be a whole bunch of bots claiming all the same sourceless things. If you see comments about “Donbass people oppression”, “russian language bans”, “Ukrainian nazis”, “NATO breaking agreements with russia” etc. it’s a dead giveaway of a russian bot.

The "situation" is your country committing genocide against Ukraine.

You can't even be honest on your own Tumblr page. And your clients might end up funding, through the taxes you pay with their money or through your own donations to your country's army (because some westerners quickly forget that a person can actually support their country's actions, especially when they phrase things like this), the continued killing of ukrainians.

In Darnytskyi district, a 9-story residential building collapsed - destruction from the 1st to the 6th floor.

In Pecherskyi district, hits were recorded in the courtyards of the residential complex "French Quarter", "Fountain Boulevard" and Trinity. Dozens of cars were destroyed and damaged, a private clinic was destroyed.

📍 На одній зі столичних станцій метро після "прильоту" почала осипатись стеля. Зараз в метро ховаються тисячі людей.

📍В Деснянському районі горить частково зруйнована девʼятиповерхівка – там є заблоковані люди.

📍В Дарницькому районі в багатоповерхівці аналогічна ситуація – люди заблоковані у багатоповерхівці, де зараз пожежа. Окрім того, поруч горять приватні будинки. Ракета повністю зруйнувала два будинки, а багатоповерхівку пробила майже до фунтамента, знісши 6 поверхів з 9.

📍В Шевченківському районі "приліт" у дах готелю та в станцію швидкої медичної допомоги. Поранено пʼятеро медиків та двоє цивільних, один парамедик у важкому стані. Ось тому вони й намагаються не їздити під час тривог, що дуже злить населення.

📍У Печерському районі зафіксовано пожежі поряд із житловими будинками – горять автомобілі в дворі між ЖК "Бульвар Фонтанів" та ЖК "Taryan Towers". Біля ЖК "Французький квартал" і "TRIINITY" велика вирва в асфальті внаслідок удару ракети. Зруйновано клініку.

📍У Соломʼянському районі пожежа поряд із адміністративною будівлею.

📍На Оболоні "приліт" біля ТЦ "Караван" ("Victoria Gardens").

📍На Петрівці "приліт" біля ЖК "Навігатор".

▪️Під вогнем не лише Київ:

📍"Приліт" в Чайках під Києвом. Спалахнула дуже велика пожежа, стовп вогню сягає кілька десятків метрів.

📍Ворог вдарив дроном по Слобідському району Харкова. Інформації про постраждалих немає.

📍Ворожа артилерія кілька разів обстріляла Центральний та Корабельний райони Херсона, зокрема багатостраждальний Шуменський мікрорайон, куди ввечері вже прилітало декілька ворожих дронів – тоді загинув водій автомобіля, а його машина згоріла.

As of today (April 14, 2026), I believe only 38 countries have fully legalized same-sex marriage. Out of somewhere around 200 countries in the world. That’s only ~19% of countries.

Instead, I will say this: next time you want to read a book from russian literature or praise russian culture, think about how much culture we will never get to experience because of russians.

20 people are currently in the city's hospitals. In particular, three hospitalized are in serious condition, one is in extremely serious condition, one boy and an elderly woman are in extremely serious critical condition.
