In this blog, I want to take requests of themed Pokemon teams.

Now, my very best friend @yourfaves-a-pokemaster does Character based team building, so I don’t want to do that!

Rather, I want you guys to send requests like “Make a team for someone living in a big city!” Or “Make a team of all Starters!” Or “Make a team of fully evolved Dark type Pokemon from ONLY GEN 2”

I want to make fun, themed teams! I’m hoping this will help me learn more about more Pokemon I haven’t seen before!

I am.. EXTREMELY excited about Winds and Waves because it’s rumored to have an open-ocean exploration which I ADORE more than words can express and there are QUITE A COUPLE of Dark Types rumored including a Dark Rabbit and a Lizard based on a Komodo Dragon..

WINDS AND WAVES YOU MAY BECOME MY FAVORITE IF YOUR STARTERS STAY COOL.

I have HIGH hopes for the Lizard… the other two, I’m not that sold on. The grass eyebrow bird could be cool too but I gotta see it evolve… if it’s buff I’m OUT.

The Singer of the Pokemon Theme Song Made a little ending song when Ash became World Champion

This shit MEANS SOMETHING TO ME-

Pokemon may be fake but the simple joys of exploring with your Pet/Best Friend is a very relatable thing.

The theme song, the weirdly deep and optimistic lyrics, felt right on par with the rest of the show’s messages.

Also pokemon is just cool as hell.

A way to create Mini-Teams, and cycle through them, instead of having to switch each one out manually.

Have your main menu of the 6 Pokemon in your team, the Larger Pokedex, and a tab within the Pokedex for ‘Teams’.

Name the teams, each team is 6 ‘mon, and Boom, You can have a better team building system INSTANTLY.

Before going into a battle, you could choose a team you built of specifically chosen Pokemon for that battle, already assembled in the way you want that team, instead of having to swap put individual Pokemon before Battles

And if I said Milo Manheim should Play a grown up Ash Ketchum or Red in a Pokemon movie?

THE HYPE IS INCREDIBLY DESERVED FOR FIRERED/LEAFGREEN AS A REMAKE OF THE ORIGINAL GAMES.

Things I would like to know

• How to get a Flareon and Vaporeon

• How to get a Gengar

• how to get Snorlax

I had an Epiphany… I’m watching a LeafGreen Letsplay and Diglett’s CLEARLY SUPPOSED TO BE A MOLE

ARGUABLY ONE OF THE CUTEST ANIMALS.

AND I NEVER REALIZED THE POTENTIAL FOR A CUTE MOLE POKEMON BEFORE TODAY BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE PP JOKES

The beginning of the game would have the Trainer choose their starter, and instead of Gyms there are different Pokemon Shelters all around to visit.

The Battle System would be “Oh! This Grookey is a little Fearful… we need to make him comfortable with people again so he can go to a good home”

And the challenge is to have your Pokemon be friends with the Grookey.

Or

“This Blastoise is retired from Battling, which home would be the best for him?”

And the puzzle is learning about the Other Pokemon each of the potential Adopters has, and you get extra Money for fitting the Pokemon with the best family!

Or maybe for Random ‘Catch Em’ challenges, it could be like “Help train these Rowdy little Pokemon to go into the Pokeball!”

(Author’s Note: I’m not HUGE on Mythical/Legendary Pokemon lore so if anything here directly goes against any of that lore… then that’s why lol)

• All Pokemon are Empaths, and they know when a trainer is a Trainer vs. being a Poacher.

• Pokemon don’t kill unless it is for food, they have a completely different power scale when it comes to battling and fainting vs. fighting something to kill and eat it.

• Going hand in hand with the first two, Pokemon do not ever use lethal force against humans, especially Training-age humans. (10-30’s).

• Going deeper, Getting your Pokemon License at 10 is actually a binding ward that makes the Trainer impervious to any Pokemon’s powers.

The Pokemon can use its powers, and sure, the trainer will feel it, but it’s just… not an issue.

I’m particularly thinking of all of the times Pikachu LIT Ash’s ass up, and Ash just… got back up after a second, grinning and Cartoonishly charred. That’s just like… what happens when a Pokemon uses it’s powers on a Kid. They’re super-INeffective.

• While there are still LOADS of Trainers that catch Pokemon in the wild, I can see there being Pokemon Adoption Agencies!

“Oh we have a Scorbunny that would be absolutely thrilled to go home with a Baseball player!”

“Yes, we carry Elderly Pokemon. Hmm… well, we do have a Torterra that would love to spend his golden years in the Garden with Grandma! He’s very gentle and needs a home with a big backyard! Maybe you guys could come visit and we could set them up for a meeting in our grassy area?”

• Young Trainers only Wild-Catching their Companion Pokemon, and maybe another one or two, and otherwise Adopting them from Breeders in fun ‘Battles’.

“I have Three Bulbasaur that just hatched! Mama and Papa Venusaur are more than happy to ‘battle’ for one!” (Insert a Thirteen year old feeding Mama Venusaur treats and going ‘Venusaur used Cronch. It was super effective.’ And THEN their REAL battle is having to coax the Baby Bulbasaur into the Pokeball.)

• Poke-Tok and TrainerTube having Vlogs of Teenage Trainers traveling Regions to find and Catch their Companion Pokemon.

“Hey guys! I just got the Habitat set up for a Decidueye, Let’s go visit Alola and see if I can catch myself a Rowlett!”

“Lets visit Kanto to Battle a Mother Charizard for her Young!”

A Pacific Northwest Region (often Fan Named Olympia) variant of Scorbunny/Raboot/Cinderace with a Baseball motif.

Scorbunny with one of those fat T-ball bats, Raboot dressed like a Little Leaguer, with one of those hard protective hats little leaguers wear, and Cinderace with a Nice Ass Wooden Bat and a Baseball of Fire.
