AITA for getting mad at the brother?

I (32MA) was meeting with an omega (24M). We were at his house, and he has a wealthy family. In their culture, omegas live with their parents until an alpha takes them after the bonding ceremony.

Everything was normal and great (we got along really well and both really like Pokémon) until his brother walked in. His brother (17MO) was very upset, saying that I was supposed to be meeting with him today. Let’s call my omega John and his brother Loser.

Loser claimed that me talking with John was a mistake, despite their parents literally telling me, in the request they sent me, that I was to meet with their eldest omega son today (aka John).

John started getting upset, and I shut the door in Loser’s face. Loser cried and let out a very distressed scent. I tried to help John calm down after that, but it was difficult.

Loser went away when their parents got home, and John told me Loser has always tried to take things away from him.

UPDATE:

because of how well we matched, we’re going through with the bonding ceremony! Only problem is that Loser, as tradition go in their family, will be the one helping John get ready. John will be wearing a beautiful light grey suit with pearl beads all over. I’ll be in a dark grey suit with rubies.

the theme is grey, meaning no one else should be wearing grey- including Loser. We suspect he will violate this rule. He sucks. I don’t get what his problem is, but every time he’s around, John’s scent sours.
