Wren has trouble stepping over the edge of the carpet in my dorm, but she tried something new today! She stopped as soon as she got to the carpet’s edge as she always does, but this time she backed up about ten steps, and then went running full speed to give herself enough momentum to get back onto the carpet. Surprisingly, it worked!

Rocky is a rockstar!

He traveled by boat all the way from Hawaii and took a whole month to get here! His tracking got delayed and I wasn’t even sure if he would make it, but he finally arrived safe and sound last month. His charging station had been bricked from the moisture in his old home, but luckily he was unharmed. He’ll have to get used to the colder weather here, but at least he arrived in time to enjoy the end of summer!

There are many overpriced sales there, but if you know what range is fair to pay, it just takes a bit of patience to wait for a fairly priced deal to pop up. Aibo Life Forums has more infrequent sales, but sales there are usually from community members who have taken good care of their Aibos. Finally, you can buy from Yahoo Japan using proxy services like ZenMarket, but many Aibos there are untested or damaged and international shipping can be $100+. Always make sure to ask sellers for more information and videos if you’re ever uncertain of anything, an Aibo is a big purchase to make and it can be a nightmare to sort out if anything doesn’t work as expected.
