yeah but I'm not a fucking weirdo to them about it. I have the basic respect for their internality required to understand that what for me is aspirational is not so for them, and may be actively uncomfortable or distressing for them

For trans men who have have taken testosterone, I do not look at any part of them and feel envy because for One they're probably dressing and presenting pretty masculine just generally look and act like men, which is Not what I want for myself and Two, if im ever feeling envy for any person's body (already something i try very hard not to encourage in myself) its probably going to be for other women, cis or trans!

And for trans men who have Not taken testosterone, it would never occur to me to be envious because that would be an incredibly cruel and thoughtless feeling to chase. No matter what I personally may or may not think about a trans man's body when not on T, all of those thoughts would be heavily influenced by the understanding that the man himself will probably have intense dysphoria, and that whatever traits or qualities i might find desireable are exactly the ones that would cause him the same pain and trauma that I have felt my entire life.

Like seriously what the Fuck is wrong with you men that have the gall to say things like this to a trans woman? That you envy the ways they DONT pass, the ways you see them as wearing feminine trappings over masculine bodies?
