Watching what’s left of the invading kaiju flee from his beach, Kai released the larger creature. The blue glow on his chest would slowly fade as what was once a dancing flame was put out and replaced with billowing black smoke that rose from his maw. The creature he killed caused a small cloud of sand to rise upon being dropped.
The young guardian breathed heavily, remaining silent for a few moments to listen for any stragglers before turning around to face the once again whole crustacean. Watching the last of the smaller aggregates merge with the larger being honestly disturbed him to a degree. There was nothing natural about a kaiju being made up of many, many tiny kaijus. He visibly shivered as he then glanced at the carnage that had also been caused by the strange being before him. It was certainly helpful, but also somewhat terrifying. This creature didn’t look tired in the slightest, meanwhile the guardian was exhausted from having to use his natural strength and fire so much.
With a lowered head, the small kaiju looked at all of the aggressors that had been drained. Another moment of silence. He huffed out another cloud of smoke and raised his head, puffing up his fluffy chest in an attempted to seem less tired as well as larger.
“Alright,” He said with a curled back lip, showing off black teeth that are now covered in fresh blood from the creatures he had torn apart. “I can see that you have certainly proved yourself… so, yes. You are helpful.”
As weary as he was, Destoroyah was honestly relieved that the other Titan was holding up his end of the bargain. Clacking his mandibles in wordless approval, he began making his way further up the beach.
Ahead of him, the island’s lush foliage waved invitingly in the breeze. It looked like a perfect place to rest for a while, but his companion had shown him that this island was much more dangerous than he had initially assumed. Even for him, being attacked in his sleep was a step too far.
“Where is safe to rest?” he asked. He didn’t trust his ally of convenience, but he didn’t seem like the sort to attack an enemy in their sleep.
