Wake up time: On weekdays I’m up no later than 4:30. On weekends, however, it’s a rare thing if I’m up before noon.

Cats or Dogs: Dogs. But only big dogs. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my cat and all the cats I’ve had, but dogs run more my speed.

No summary: it's either porn or a small drabble and it all depends on the word count

I constantly lie to people about what I write because even though I know I shouldn't, I get embarrassed because it's fanfiction. And while realistically I know there's nothing to be ashamed of, the thought of actually saying I do it almost makes me sick. I lie to my friends, my teachers, and even members of my family about it on an almost daily basis. 

There's always some excuse for what I'm writing: “Oh, just homework!”; “An essay.”; “Eh, it's nothing important.” I'm actually lowkey known as the girl who is freakishly protective over her notebooks, because I'm anxious that if anyone goes to tear out a sheet on their own they'll see. 

And I don't even know why I care. When I get online, my writing, be it in the form of fic or in RP responses, is a huge source of pride for me. It's really the one thing I'm confident about, that I know I can do and do well, even if I do always want to improve. 

It's not even like I think my friends will turn on me or anything (hell, one of my best friends has actually sent me some of his fanfiction for me to proofread and comment on) and these are the people who sit patiently and let me rant about fandoms and my otps and stuff even if they aren't in the fandom and I do the same for them. I doubt my teachers would remotely care, and I know my family couldn't care less what I do, and outside of those three groups I don't give a single fuck what anyone else thinks about me, so I don't know why it freaks me out so much?

I don't know why I don't have a problem letting teachers use the things I write for class (poetry, short stories, and the like) as examples, but won't even admit to anyone's face that I write fic and edit fandom videos.  

I hate that I do this. My writing and editing are important parts of my life and for some reason I always end up digging my heels and refusing to let anyone even know about it.
