However, he has refused to talk to her since the events that happened prior to him moving to Greensville. Agathon’s sister was illegally burning down buildings to help her company claim insurance money. When Agathon, a police officer at the time, found out. He covered for her, but only if she swore to never do it again. He was trying to help her stop, but it failed. Months later, she was at it again. Agathon and his partner were on her trail, but he couldn’t let his sister get caught. His partner was ready to shoot the woman. So in the heat of the moment, Agathon shot his partner dead. His sister expertly covered it up, and he hasn’t been able to forgive himself for it.
Occupation: Before moving to Greensville, Agathon was a police office in Charlotte. He was good at his job, and he loved it. Agathon is now a freelance private investigator. Mostly working for rich housewives that want to catch their husbands cheating. Being a criminal detective is his passion but since the incident with his sister, he withdrew from the force. He can’t see himself doing it ever again. Knowing he can’t ever go back, without confessing. Police corruption was always something he was seriously against, but now he feels like he’s just like any other corrupt cop.
Tattoos/Scars: Agathon has a firefly tattoo on his forearms. It’s a matching tattoo he got with his sister a few years ago. Fireflies were their favorite animals growing up. It’s just something that they’ve always shared. If Agathon ever found something at the store that had fireflies on it, he knew he’d found his sister’s next Christmas present. Agathon’s eyebrow scar happened when he was fourteen years old. He happened to be walking by just as his dad raised an axe to chop wood, and the back head of the axe hit him right in the eyebrow. Since then, he’s had the bald spot on his left eyebrow.
