Like they have dreadlocks, live in grass skirts, practice voodoo and worship vilified versions of real deities like Dambala, and even have Jamaican accents. The game's consistently treats them as villains even in the most recent storylines and the backstory has both white humans and elves arrive from another continent, than murder the trolls for land.

I politely pointed out this was kind of racist and reminiscent of glorification of european colonization. For this, I was immediately insulted with "you and everyone whom thinks that way, lack brain cells and think white people are evil". They also accused me of using my Iranian American heritage as an "excuse".

The community has since been going around slandering me, and these are the posts by the guy saying I'm a racist...

The concept of calling you the racist for pointing out obvious racism is absurd, but is also sadly something that seems to have become much more common from what I have heard and in even in some cases witnessed. It's also shameful and embarrassing that they also decided to pull that "reverse racism" bs. There is literally no such thing. The "racism" that white people claim to face will never be on the same level as the racism POC face. There is no "reverse racism."

It's bizarre that pointing out racism will get an entire group of people to turn on you, even worse if they're also the same people who preach about "anti-racism."
