always ridiculous to see posts on here like 'oh cmon i don't see how LoZ has a misogynistic society' and then acting like Zelda, being the princess and also a Woman, somehow is enough. let me tell you it takes a hell of a lot more than One Singular Female Figure Of Authority to not have it be a patriarchal, misogynistic society. also, on the level of storytelling and whether the franchise itself is misogynistic, princess Zelda? who famously spends nearly every game either kidnapped, trapped in a crystal/tower/other magical fate, turned into a ghost, [insert stupid fate which removes Zelda for most of the game]? that's your example of a woman in power? one who has so little agency in every goddamn game?
