What is your favorite thing about winter?
Being able to wear warm clothing! Roughly 90% of my wardrobe is sweaters and turtlenecks and leggings and big bulky jeans so I am ill-equipped to dress myself when the temperature is above 60 degrees. I love my warm clothes 😌

Yesterday I played around with my mock portfolio on Codecademy. I had a bit of trouble with layering out the page so I need to focus a bit more on CSS. I'm going back to FCC today and putting in my daily two-hour goal. Speaking of goals, I need to really make a plan for Spanish because I feel like I'm all over the place with it. I bought some new notebooks because the one I was using was very old and used so hopefully my language notes will be more organized. In the meantime, enjoy my very first embroidery project.😃 You can tell I'm a beginner..😅

This photo is from last month when I would study at the library, but I only have 1 week left here!! My final essay for my psychology course is due tomorrow and I'm so close to finishing it. Once I'm done with that, all I have to focus on is studying for my anatomy final on the 18th and then I leave Ireland ;(. I am very excited to go back home though, I miss my parents and my pets.

Soooo, back into another lockdown for the last week before the Christmas break.
As the project deadline is coming Friday, I'm quite stressed. I've worked on the report for quite a few hours today and will do the same tomorrow.
What is your favorite Christmas movie?
- Love actually! I love the whole mid 2000 England vibe in movies like this one and the Bridget Jones' ones.
What is your favorite Christmas song?
- One of my current faves is Santa Tell Me by Ariana Grande.
What is a Christmas song that makes you cringe?
- I hate Baby It's Cold Outside
What is your favorite and least favorite holiday/winter food?
- My favorite thing for dinner during holidays is "Gourmetten" where you basically have a small grill on the table and tiny frying pans and you cook your own miniature food. "Mixed vegetables" are my most hated thing.

My last final is tomorrow and then I'm heading back to the US! I had so much fun studying abroad here in Ireland but I am so excited to be going back home and see my family and my pets. AND to get a break from school lmao
studying and making bad financial decisions!!! I just went to the shop and I wasn't going to buy anything but I've been lasting after "the love hypothesis" so long and this is my first bts album so yeah, I'll be walking everywhere now, lol!

I definitely did not listen to the Twilight Saga soundtrack while studying, and I definitely did not put on the first movie when I got back to my apartment, you have no proof I did anything at all 👀
I did use macarons and ✨spicy✨ tea to motivate myself to study though 😊

Goodbye to winter wonderland studying challenge
I want to thank @ddaengstudies for coming up with the winter wonderland challenge. I thoroughly enjoyed the days I could participate and like the questions/prompts you made very much!!
The reason why I was not able to post much was that I'm on the run away from a dangerous situation in my current accommodation : ) So I might have failed the test for which the notes in this pictures were made. Either way, I am mentally prepared for the possibility of taking a resit. I may lose a battle but I'm not dropping out of the war until I stop kicking completely. I'm never going to give up on education, and I'm never going to give up for what I am doing.

13. WHICH IS WORSE? FAILING OR NEVER TRYING?:
This isn't a difficult question for me. However, tbh, I have both experiences. Never trying is worst among the. Because when we don't know what if we try, there will be doubt and regrets always. What if I had tied or what if it turned out to be great? But in failing, even though we are not winning, at least we have tried for ourselves so that there won't be any regret in the future. So I choose to fail over never trying.

Yesterday I decided to take a mental health day, as I was noticing my sleeping pattern getting worse and I was feeling more emotional than usual. It helped a lot and I'm very glad I did it.
Today was another project day. I overslept, so I enden up being 35 min late to our meet up, but wasn't the end of the world. I managed to get some good hours of work done. Tomorrow I'll work on it some more.

- It'll be one for Sinterklaas instead of Christmas: My sister and I ended up receiving a keyboard (piano), but we had a number of mysteries to solve before getting to the present. I ended up so happy I could cry! I didn't however ever learn how to play the piano, so for the first two years I tried teaching myself how to play a few different songs, but after that I ended up not using it and we sold it. 😅
what i've been studying since the start of the week. this month is pretty much filled and strict routines are getting me through it. please remember that breaks are important for you and and your productivity too! 💓 cant believe that there's still half a month left until 2022 starts :O
