Avatars have always been victims of propaganda. It was like that for Roku, for Aang, especially Kyoshi. Kuruk, Yanchen. Their stories were twisted for the benefit of their enemies and critics.

This thing with Korra is nothing new. She’s not suddenly the black sheep of the avatar cycle just because some narrator who probably wasn’t alive to know her heard something from someone, who heard it from someone else, etc etc.

This is how gossip spreads. Facts change to fiction until the truth isn’t there anymore. You don’t think there would be people benefiting from slandering the avatar who came after Aang, who brought back the air nation and connected the physical and spiritual realms? Who was seen fighting and having arguments with council members?

There is so much that enemies can twist to make the populace hate the Avatar. We see that in the Avatar Day episode of ATLA.

I always love it when people in the fandom make fake instaposts and iMessages between the digidestined so I thought I'd try my hand at it! It was more technical than I anticipated but I still enjoyed making it. :)

I finished this way before I installed my photoshop recording plug in. So no process video. I actually don't know if I can get a process video out of my super big pieces (this is 18x24" 500 dpi) cause I'm trying to export one right now and it's just freezing lmao.
